Ive got some ICE on the way and was wondering whats the earliest I could take cuttings without causing unneeded stress...seeing as Ive never used female beans before or experience with ICE, Ive no idea how early

Thanks in advance

Are ya gonna top your girls are take some cuts? if ya top most do so at about the 5 or 6th node. I have not topped in a while but as far as cuts go I take some from the lower portion maybe a week or so before I flower them. The Ice my friend will not stretch a whole lot but she is a very beautiful plant to watch grow. Keep us posted.

try to take cuts 2-3 weeks before you flower so that the plant has healed itself and doesn't get any stress

I take them a couple weeks before I start flower, you can take them as soon as they are big enough for you, I like to take them from the lower branches since they will receive less light and only take away from the rest of the plant in the long run. I think taking from the lower branches causes less stress then topping your plant but that's just my opinion

I have never grown this strain outside but its no different then indoors as soon as the branches grow long enough go for it, or you can top it after the 5 or 6 node like Mr Wags said. Its a matter of personal choice.

I always go for lower branches, as they are not worth there weight. And thus the girls' add weight elsewhere. I hate to waste some though, cause i can't grow many cuttings. But still the plant will always benefit from trimming lower branches. +++++
