Smile 3-FER--> DUENDE_MENDO BREATH-F2_ALOHA-GS

finally got my 3 latest strains from GGG up and running.

Duende gave me 9 for 11 on germination with a 5:4 favoring the ladies.
very lush plants with big fans and tight stacking

here's a few ladies,
last nite they hit 12/12

.

the Duende males were just as lush as the ladies!

Thumbs up NUG PIC's!!

FINALLY!
the plants are 24 days into bloom today and time to get the camera
out and snap a few.
the smell is starting to hit you when you enter,
very sweet, like a a candy shop cooking up the goodies.

Duende is looking fine
2 pheneo's have the most beautiful classic shape

this is what I like seeing with indoor grown
plenty of closely spaced bud running up the laterals

more pics of the mendo breath F2s and the aloha Grape stompers in the nest few days

Thumbs up

glad to see there's some interest in these.
empty as the GGG forums are, they put out on a consistent basis some of the highest quality plants Ive bought in nearly 5yrs now.

Mendo Breath F2s were finicky to germ and hard to sex out.
I got 9:20 to germ and make it, less than 50%
only 2 ladies were sex't out initially
BUT... 3 more down the road showed their true feminine nature,
so it's turned out 5:9....... ladies favor.

there's 2 very distinct pheno's with the MB-f2s
one has crinkled leaves mutant looks, the other is more what you expect.
the MBs are huge plants whether you top or let gro au'naturel

MB F2 "Crinkle Pheno"
here's the smaller of the 2 MB fem crinkle pheno's
not much in the side branching dept
a good "corn stalk* plant for sogging

the normal MB Pheno's look a lot like the Duende's
just a lot bigger.
this one's top was left alone.

this MB stretched a bit more so I broke it's neck so this is basically
a topped plant but with the main top cola still in place

here's a close up of a side branch on it's way
to producing a nice cola

Red face

the last strain I have is the Aloha Grape Stomper
these plants have been gushing out the resin since about the 20day mark
a trait of the Grape Stomper,
super greasy/sticky and an almost a sickening super sweet smell coming off these ladies.
this strain is extremely vigorous, from germing to cuttings/propogation it's on top and ahead.

the nugs are smaller than the MB and Duende's.
maybe due to me fuggin big time with up the lite situation.

realing I forgot to change the bulbs new ones were ordered
about the same time i ordered a cheap lite meter, reading using the foot candle option the bulbs were pushing 42,000 to 45,000FC
so when I installed the new bulbs
they were cookin it at 85,000--92,000FC.
crap!, it was on my maintenance list to change out bulbs but I over looked it due to an accident that shut me down for a while last year.

soooo... I'm wondering just how much bigger everything would be

ok, close up of the Aloha-GS

the aloha white widow was a nice cross for the grape stomper
these are very full, bushy with lots of nug sites running up the lateralls

hi jack... yeah i let these go,
i had to shut down late last year, so I'm starting back up and only had enuff plants to fill just over 1/2 the room so I let em go big.
not sure how long the veg was, these were all from seed, but from the time they hit gallon containers I;d say probably 4-5wks.
from plants this size i average 200-300g trimmed nugz ready to go
Plus on top of that I get a boatload of popcorn and trim for hash/oil

as far as being slow veggers it was hard to tell because of the bulb situation i spoke of above.
the AGS is a good 12-18" taller than Duende and the MB.
looked to me the AGS stretched a lot more.

hey jack,
I save 4-5 clones from every plant from seed.

as for the topping thing....
all i do is crimp the main cola and lay it over side ways,
so no topping actually happens,
but the plant goes into a *topped mode* as if it the top was cut out. keep an eye on it because it will want to start spring back up so you'll have to recrimp and /or tie down the bent over top.
sometimes the side branches surpass the top cola and they also have to be crimped over.

if you look carefully you'll see most my plants have a sideways cola, sometimes 2 or 3 or more as the side branches shoot up-n-over the crimped main cola.

from seed i like to let the plants grow untopped so i can see how the plant
grows and the shape.
most of these were crimped as i went into flower because height issuse.

there's another really nice plus when you crimp the tops over is
it gives the nugs on the sides a chance to start growing vert.
and you get more yield there as well.
here's a pic of what I'm saying...

this strain was very receptive to what I'm describing
