How's it goin' playas?
The ladies are FINALLY on 12/12! Today is day 3. Since these ladies were just about at height with the 2 bushes im flowering out with them, I've decided against topping them. That test will be for next round. Instead I just took 2 wimpy cuts off the very bottom of each lady and left everything else. We'll be able to see how the lower growth manages the low light. I've noticed some strains produce smokable/scuffable popcorn, and some don't form much of anything...under the same lighting conditions. The 4 ladies were around 18" when I took these pics a few days ago. I measured one @ 24" yesterday so they're growing FAST under that GroLux. Sorry TML, no budshots yet I kept myself in suspense too long waiting to flip the lights. I wanted to get that tent full before flowering, since I have no veg space....and that's what took so long, sorry guys!Nevertheless, here's the Fighting Buddha females right before I switched to 12/12. ![]() ![]() And the one that my cat tried to assassinate..... Notice how the stem started rooting above the medium.....I've never had an MJ plant do this, only succulents. Last pic is a comparison shot in front of a Fighting Buddha lady that DIDN'T get chewed up ![]() ![]() ![]() Well that's it for now I've transplanted the small lady #F7 into a 3gal pot and it's in the tent with the big dawgs!I'll get this show going once we see some buds forming! |

lookin real good and green UN.
Great height and good nodal spacing there. F5 got the good bush on. Never know about F7...sometimes the runts can catch up! Even if it was cat attacked. Good luck and thanks for keeping us entertained

DAY 8
thanks for stoppin by guys! your kind words make this stoner happy
![]() the show goes on..............day 8, no buds yet but they're on the way. before the pics, some notes i came up with..... HEIGHT.... F2: 29" F3: 23" F5: 27.5" F6: 30" (tallest) F7: 20.5" AVERAGE INTERNODAL SPACING.... F2: 2" F3: 1.75" (tightest) F5: 2.25" F6: 2.5" F7: 2.25" TRUNK THICKNESS.... F2: 5/16" F3: 1/4" F5: 5/16" F6: 3/8" (thickest) F7: 1/4" F6 is very strong and sexy. A nice thick trunk on her! She may be the keeper, but who knows so far very impressive!F3 is staying shorter, but with very even lower growth. The bottom branches aren't stretching up as much as the others, maybe this is a different pheno? All the leaves are of similar thickness, not much difference in the blade width either. I fed them a light solution of CMS and Iron chelate and saw some sap oozing out, very soon after watering. The side by side pics are lined up F2-F7, from left to right. .....on with it............................ ......................... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Beautiful camera work and the plants are looking even better!
Can't wait to see them throw out some buds....love the macros....since I've been hanging in the vendor forums...I've been exposed to more organic soil grows than ever...I'm impressed...and equally impressed with this Fighting Buddha... Great Show!

Very detailed test grow UN
What is it you look for most in a mother plant? any traits more important to you? ie: node spacing More awesome camera work...the sap picture blows me away. I can't wait to see how good your budshots are.

watup guys! thanks for droppin in
![]() VT - thanks man, i can't wait either i'm dyin to see how these buds turn out. BH - yup this is it. i'm probably going to do another thread for all my other pics from my room. i've got some other little dinky stuff that should be fun. i like to try all kinds of b.s. just to say i did ![]() TML - how's it going bro? i'm lovin your hempstar man! as far as mother selection goes, i'm no breeder....this is my first "real" documented strain; but specifically for the fighting buddha i'd like a mother that bushes out well. i've just been paying attention to how vigorous they are and how they respond to nutes. the F6 is killer, she's stalky, sexy, and strong, and not as sensitive as the other ladies. i'll bring some pics later tonight, peace guys! |
