i'm going to feed them with a wonderful liquid supplement called CMS tomorrow, they're getting a foliar tonight. i'll be back with pics, thanks for all the encouragement everyone!

Have you always flowered under MH? Was just curious.

Your cool tube thread is very informative. Might be something I would be willing to try if I wasn't so worried I'd burn the house down.

thanks bro! actually i've never flowered under a halide. i threw the seedlings under a 150 hps to sex them, then back under the halide for a little more veg time.

now that you bring it up though.....i swapped the MH for the GroLux (400 hps) bulb last night not only because im almost ready to flower, but it's a lot brighter than the halide.......

i want to see how it will veg compared to the standard MH. side by side, i believe the grolux puts out like 20k more lumens, and it has an enhanced blue spectrum similar to the hortilux hps.

I only have the one ballast, but I have an MH conv. bulb. I rarely get to use it since I mainly use CFL's for vegging. The few times I have used it for vegging I noticed how much better the internode spacing and extra encouraged growth the plants took on under the MH.
The only plant I ever vegged under the HPS was my first grow...it ended up being 180cm (6ft)!

If I could I'd always veg under the MH.

Nothin wrong with a little extra veg time. Keepin me in budshot suspense here
