Fighting Buddha Test
Breeder : CHIMERA/DJ SHORT
Flowering Time : 50-55+ DAYS Environment : INDOOR/OUTDOOR Seeds Per Pack : 10 Yield : 680gr/570 gr A heritage Burmese Sativa mother hybridized with Blueberry resulting in a tall proud Sativa dominant beauty with lime green foliage and frosty sweet nuggets. Tropical limey-sweet citrus nose with floral undertones. Crystal-clear inspiring high. Give her room to stretch in the first few weeks and you’ll be rewarded with prolific sugar bushes; the resins produce some of the finest dry or water extracted hash. 06/22/06: Today marks the beginning of this test grow. The seeds were soaked for 12 hours in aerated tap water with a drop of SuperThrive and a drop of H202. @ 36 hours: 7/9 germed w/ taproots 3mm+ long, I lost the 10th bean somewhere

Welcome gourd, thanks for dropping by
Here's a shot of the taproots, Day 3. These are small seeds, nice and vigorous, obviously.

Day 6 of this test.
Seeds were planted in 4" pots in a 50/50 mix of EWC and perlite, with dolomite lime. They all broke the soil within 24 hours of being planted. All shed their shells quickly. For now they are under a single 42w CFL. Cab temps are around 70F. They are all doing well so far ![]() ![]() ![]()

2 of the seedlings were sabotaged by
on day 5I managed to save one in the bubble cloner! Rooted in 4 days.... ![]() ![]() These have been under a 400w MH for the past 4 days. A few of the leaves are starting to crinkle up a bit, and I'm wondering if this is a trait from the blueberry. Day 9............................. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I love to see baby pictures, they look great! I'll be following with interest since I have all of Chimera's Joint Project seeds (except Schnazz #2) . Last edited by przcvctm; 06-30-2006 at 11:46 PM.. Reason: Sp. |

Thanks guys, and welcome to my virtual grow room!
It's fuckin' messy in here, so watch your step! ![]() This little baby was put back into some soilless after a solid week in the cloner. It will do just fine about a week behind everything else. ![]() All 5 other seedlings have been transplanted into a mix that consists of: Ocean Forest Perlite Sphagnum Peat Marine Cuisine Kelp Meal Epsom Salts Dolomite Lime Day 13 of veg (since planting)........... So far, they seem uniform, plant #F2 is a little faster than the rest, they are all pretty much starting their 3rd set of leaves. They were labeled according to the length of the taproot when they germed. F1 being the longest. You can see below in the 1st pic that I transplant about 24 hours after the roots reach the bottom, this prevents any stunting from being rootbound. I feel that this allows the plants to mature much faster from seed. I try to only transplant once during the life of any given plant, but for these, I will be sexing them in small 10" pots, then going to something bigger. Anyways, I'm totally rambling and high now, I can barely type. ENJOI![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Great save on the seedling in the aero-cloner!!! Smart!
![]() Would love to include that pic in a future article if you don't mind me using it in print. Of course you'll be credited accordingly.... Keep an eye on the tips and if you start to see the curl/crinkle trait coming out, cut your nute strength by 1/3 to 1/2 or feed plain water for a few feedings. The bb hybrids really don't require as much nutes as most tend to use. Tell the cat I say 'merowr, fffffft, fffffft, hschschsch (sp?)' lol. Nice work and great pics, look forward to seeing this develop. All the best, -Chimera |
