The Afgooey is sugary sweet and covered in trichomes. It buds out so fat all of the tops lean over and it has so many tirchomes mold won't spread through it. Some pm problems though and it is kind of a hard trim. So many trichs on it though it's ridculous

Well that sounds amazing! Thanks for the description!

Now we have had the coldest February ever recorded. Sucks. Downright butt cold. My seed chamber has been about 67-75f, which is far from ideal.

These were direct sowed, because if a seed cannot be planted in the ground and grow, well nuff said.

After 3 days, 9 are up and standing tall. I plant deep, so I would call these seeds pretty quick. I will be looking in on them tonight and getting some pics. They were sowed in my organic soil mix that I cut 50/50 with coco.

We are off and running!

  • Plants require 18 essential nutrients to grow and survive, classified by their importance into macronutrients (C, H, O, N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S) and micronutrients (B, Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn, Mo, Cl, Co, Ni). Study Tip!
  • Nutrients may be mobile or immobile in the plant and in the soil, which influences redistribution of nutrients and display of deficiency symptoms, and the fertilization of crops.
  • Nutrient demands change throughout the life of the plant, in general increasing during vegetative growth but decreasing during reproductive development.

Update:

I have four very healthy AFG x SS seedlings that were up potted today. I only have four as I had a mouse problem and lost the rest. These were hands down the best four and survived because they were still in the drain sink as they were drinking more than the others. I regret this happening, but will continue with these sexy ladies!

Looking good

I've had rats sneak in and eat some plants before, they left the clones and the mother plants alone and ate the 1 foot seed starts I had one at a time. After the second seed start was eaten I started trapping them.

I catch a rat in my snap trap every month or two. Best bait for a rat trap is a chunk of a Payday candy bar. You can use the same piece over and over.
