Well upon my return, I found only 3 out of 5 having sprouted, with only 1 surviving. Im taking a share of the blame because it appears Ive slightly over cooked em with to much nukes. This is my first time using FoxFarm single part nukes, user error.

I have 5 more seeds in paper towels in plastic bag atop of the freezer, should crack tonite or tomorrw. stay tuned.

Thread canceled:

After attempting to germinate 10 seeds of Delta9 labs SuperStar regular seed packs, 4 actually germinated, all were slow and had no vigor, and all evenually died of causes unknown.?!

Very strange for me because after having purchased various seeds for over 15years, Ive never had a bad experience with the seeds themselves. Over the years Ive heard horror storys from other growers about bad seeds and poor germination rates and Ive always blamed the grower for lack of experience. This experience has changed my prespective and opinion. Buyer Beware!

Im going back to HarborSide and get my money back!!

That's terrible, the last time I got Delta9 they had no more superstar, so I
got a nycd x superstar, to me next best thing.

That was almost 3 years ago.

Only 1 seed popped, and it was a male, I still have it.

Damn, sorry to hear about your experience, Hova.

The Delta-9 sub forum seems to be the least visited, which is too bad.

Hey Hova, I hope you don't mind, but, I figured I'd just post in your thread my Super Star plant. I also bought a 5-pack of S.Star regular, but this was from the 'bou back in '09, and since your thread was already started, I'll just post a couple of pics and progress pics in the future.

So, this plant is very rough around the edges, seed mom, bonzai style. I tried to flower her in the 2 quart home she knew for her first 6 months since emerging from the medium before flower, no root trim, no up pot. Got 2 weeks in before I started losing fans, by the time she started to grow into her new 2 gallon home, I lost half her fans. She's incredibly small, a little over a foot high (the stakes are shishkabob sticks taped together), and was only placed into flower to sex her, as she wasn't showing at all. Her cuts rooted, so decided to just let the seed mom go to get an idea of her.

She's a "nuggets at the nodes" kind of grower, and has been the oddball ever since birth compared to the common "haze" pheno (which I also have); forever to veg, forever to show sex, squat at first but lanky now, including cuttings, she's a stretcher, but I can't judge acurately due to growing circumstances. Her smell, listed in order from strongest to mildest is Lilacs/1980's Ortho Bug Spray/Citrus (lemony). My dad was an avid Rose grower, and he used this horrible Ortho pesticide on his bushes to control the aphids mostly. Well, that sickeningly-sweet chemical death spray smell is etched into my memory, and this plants' terps NAIL the smell, minus the flowers and citrus. She's very skunky in veg, but as soon as flowers form, she loses all her skunk and goes floral/pesticide/lemoms.

The first two pics show the structure of each cola. This grow is not an accurate show on overall plant structure or final yield, but, she will definately be a lower yielder. The third and forth pics are closer detailed shots, and the fifth pic is the whole tiny ass plant. The skewer stakes are there to open the branches up, as she has a tendency to close up like a rosebud. Pics taken May 29th. Plant @ 5 weeks flower, figuring between upper 60's to upper 70's for harvest. I'm looking forward to trying her flowers, for I have a feeling she's similar to the Sensi Star "head sweating" pheno, going by comparison.

Like I said Hova, I hope you don't mind me continuing your thread. If you want me to, I'll start my own thread. If not, I'll update a few times if anyone's interested. Bye for now!

I dont have experience with Super Star but instead with Paradises Sensi Star. Sensi Star does have a lemony, musky, oily type smell so your plant checks that box. Your picture does remind me of early flowers of Sensi Star, which shows a very wet oily look thur out its grow cycle. Ive never had a Sensi star that every disappointed me with yeild, and this quality is the only thing that put me off but I still think you may have it. sorry for the late post.
