God damn opposite day around here.. I've never been to Holland, and am not familiar with their cannabis politics, but this is beyond me . How would u even prove that the person who ran the hydro store had knowledge that the person buying that bag of coco fiber or that bag of bat shit was going to grow marijuana with it? Or is assuming something enough to prosecute someone in that country?

It just will mean a seasonal crop...5 plants cultivated outdoors. And with autoflower....it could conceivably be grown from late April- mid-September.

Had friends doing that (growing on their patio/top balcony...Weesp, Vlissingen, Zandvoort what I've witnessed) for seems like eons. Just no artificial means growing.

Maybe a hoop frame/plastic sheet over it to extend season....that could be theorized as 'not professional equipment'.

The numerous political powers in Nederland have increasingly become more cautious or conservative. Tsk!

Good old Holland ingenuity will thrive!! And so will personal (medical) grows.

say fuck it.. grow them indoors.. then bring them outside.. if that's the case.. get yourself some monsters.. 5 a year isn't bad if u can hit nice number 4-5 lbs a plant outdoors.. if its for personal use.. you should be good a year.. and could have surplus

True. There's always going to be growing in the Netherlands. But when one country/political party tightens grip, another will see opporunity. Just as you mentioned. That's the grand scheme of everything.

If it's 5 plants per person then you can get 5 friends and grow all your plants under glass (if that's permitted). From 25 plants grown fairly big and protected in big glass houses you could probably get a fairly decent return. The only problem is that quality is going to suffer. Although there are probably a handful of decent varieties that can withstand the shitty Dutch weather, most top grade would only finish (and I mean proper maturity) with supplemental lighting and heating. These are probably not grow apparatus that will be a allowed under this law.

I wouldn't worry.. I doubt these laws will hold or even be enforced for very long. There's far too much revenue that comes from cannabis in Holland for them to kill the industry. Heavy regulations may make it difficult for production but there will always be loop holes and ways round them...
