Who's the fucker who had that pressure test paper?

Asking for a friend.

Found it.

Pressure indicating film. 8 bucks for a 3.5x5". Unless you're Canadian.

Racists.

I found free samples. And more of a heat indicating film.

So just because the rosin is dark it is garbage? Did you try it? I bet if you put a thin piece on some parchment it would be golden, or at least much lighter. I does not take much pigment to make it dark. Most of the rosin I make from kief comes out dark if you let it get thick. If I take it put it in some parchment, and spread it out it is golden. I am just wondering why the light color is so important.

Concentrate "bag appeal".

While we know colour can come from a variety of factors, for customers smell and look as their only benchmark until they smoke it.

Do you think $95/gram is a fair price to pay for something of that quality? To me that looks like it was old material that was pressed way too hot/too long.

If you knew how much of a laughing stock this particular dispensary was in the Hawaii cannabis scene you would understand where I'm coming from. They basically have a monopoly being one of 3 licensed dispensaries on the island and sell seeded flowers labelled as "AAAA" quality for $25/gram. And since their product is such crap, they constantly try to throw homegrowers under the bus by portraying everyone as poison pushers in the local media.
My guess is, their seeded flowers weren't selling fast enough and going brown in their display jars, so turning it into rosin was the next best thing.

If you look closely at that picture again, you actually can see a thin smear. A nasty, dark GREEN smear.

From my years of extract experience, light color and clarity go hand in hand for best flavor. Some strains start out darker than others, but all are best at their lightest for flavor. I have seen green tinged clear fresh extract that was tasty.

Are you guys kidding? I would kill or die for light golden rosin. Mine always looks like the picture the guy posted from Hawaii. LOL

I have tried everything. Different pressures, temps, humidity, strains, parchments, you name it.

I even tried Mikell's "Fresh Frozen. Let me repeat that so there can be no mistake... fresh.... frozen". What a watery mess. I guess that was supposed to be a joke. LMAO

Albeit, that method did, finally give me some golden rosin. It was Med Tree Continuum fresh off the vine. High CBD pot tastes bad enough but that rosin tasted like pure shit. I don't know if it was the "fresh frozen" or the "high cbd" but I'd rather eat shit than take another hit of that crap. Really fucking pretty, though.

Everyone sees pics of that beautiful golden ros so that's what everybody wants. You don't see fancy advertisements showing black, crappy tar looking, ros.

I have some Lemon OG coming off the line soon so I am going to try Mikell again.... fresh..... frozen. Yeah, real funny bud.

I believe it starts with fresh frozen material that gets water extracted, then that hash gets dehydrated and pressed.
Can’t see pressing wet stuff successfully, I’ve tried stuff that’s too damp and it won’t be repeated
