There is a lot of great strains that were found and not bred by master breeders how did the real east coast sour diesel come about I from what I understand it was found straight out of the bag real bag seed. New things come around all the time look at the mighty GG#4 and how it came about, and soon it will be all over the world and then there will be all kinds off crazy stories about it came about as time goes on ans I bet people will eventually sat that the glue came straight from a gorillas garden! Basically my point is that people find and create great strains and those strains don't magically disappear they stay around, people hold on to the genetics, back cross and clone make new crosses all the time how old is Maui wowie? ATF/MTF is from that time I have seen flowers in shops in so cal. people say it's around so I really doubt that it is like 40 is saying, maybe on the myth of where it really came from bit it is a real strain and the quality and consists of the flowers is all up to the one who grows it so the end results can be all over the place

look the "maui wowie" is just a tag on pot exported from here to there (the mainland).
its cannabis marketed by Hallmark LOL

the MTF on the other hand... that is legit is real. and is hopefully being held and kept happy by a responsible grower.

forgive me as I have not read hardly any of this, but wanting this for sometime and I somehow think this is way more than a strain of yesterday that has no relevancy anymore, all these strains now seem to be multiple crosses of clone only's and while they have their place, seed breeders do and all their wonderful strains do too.. oh wait this is a clone only too never mind!

LOL! at whats being called "Maui Wowie" at the clubs in socal, and the breeders using the term as a way to identify a cultivar or variety or strain or whatever you want to classify it as. Unlike the Kauai Electric, which was/is an actual bred seedline/plant variety, the "wowie" was a term applied loosely to pot from here way back when.

I can understand why shit is sold as the "wowie". But just because its understandable don't make it right. Thats like calling a Chem91 s1 seed "Chem 91", when it sure fucking ain't. Thats all I am trying to imply.

Sounds like the "Maui Wowie" you are looking for is strong and knocks your dick into the dirt. Its here and it goes around by the name of Skunkdawg.

In the 90's a friend knew someone who had it in New England. He was growing shitloads of it. I loved it. Very strong meds. He lost it to the lawman when he got raided.
A person can go to jail and face a $50,000 fine for even picking up an American Bald Eagle feather, because its on the endangered species list, but they can destroy a great genotype of plant with no problems. Like its nothing.

go buy a nice grape tasting sativa dominant hybrid. This clone only is not widespread im sure someones hoarding it somwhere either that or the law made it extinct. How many cannabibles are their? You better off finding the ones in part 2 and 3 its been years since i looked at one. The big book of buds will tell about a lot of comercially available strains. I say get the strongest and highest yielding strain you can..... my recomendation.......drumroll please ........ ace malawi and golden tiger
