I got a cut of the original clone-only MTF about 10 yrs ago and made some crosses from a Kodiak Gold male, while I was at it, I hit an Abusive Kush, G-13, Trainwreck and Purple Kush that were all clone-only at the time as well along with a Deep Chunk female from seed with that same Kodiak Gold male. If I could get some beans to sprout(having bad luck getting back started), I would pop some and see what grows, they have been in safe storage since I made them long ago.

The MTF as I remember it had popeye forearm colas when grown indoors under a lot of light, nice dense nugs and a sweet taste. You guys got me drooling already thinking about it...

We have a local chain of dispensaries in CO that sells MTF (as buds), and it's a great smoke. Lots of pistils, not too dense, Sativa/Hybrid-ish. As far as I know, they don't sell clones or seed, but I am guessing that they got them somewhere fairly popular.

I'm sure that anyone could call them and ask either if they have seeds or cuts, or if they will tell you who's gear they run. The chain of dispensaries is CannaMart in the Denver area. I've just been too lazy to call/go there.

I haven't personally grown the Dr. Greenthumb mtf but have a friend who did. Very potent smoke and he figures it's the real deal

If it's very potent smoke in 2015 you can bet it's not MTF. It was only potent compared to shitty Mex brickweed in 1980. This so called Kodiak Gold that came from Kodiak is probably another myth. Anyone who's been to Kodiak Island would realize how absurd it is to think this little armpit of less than 10,000 fisherman and bear hunters and some of the worst weather on earth had people breeding the dank way back when. By the way I have some Alaska clones for sale if any one wants some. Arctic Ocean Thunderfart, it was brought over by the first Eskimos to cross the Bearing Sea land bridge 10,000 years ago. They have been growing it in their igloos with 10K watt seal oil lamps since then, clone only. PM me for cuts

Yup that's the MTF I'm in search of I'm trying to do the same th I,g that you describe to the clone only strains that I have I have some great srains that co would,love to cross with the thunderfuck, like thunderfucking Tahoe og, thuthunderfucking diesel,all kinds of possibilities those are just a couple I will find what I'm looking for

I bought the Matanuska Thunderfuck for $1000 in 2007/2008 dont recall exactly

i had a new patient that moved to socal from Washington, and he had grown up in Alaska... anyhow he asked if I was interested in getting the MTF. I bought the clone and a few ounces to check out. I figured what the hell - roll the dice. A couple of weeks later a couple of bcuzz blocks with MTF clones infested with spider mites and two zs were delivered to me. along with a coin... a Palmer Dollar as an authenticity marker.

the buds i bought that came with the plant were similar to MTF I had run into previously in socal. The buds that grew from the plant were identical to the buds that came with the plant.

Then I got the bright idea and thought Id let the clone vendors handle getting the MTF to everybody. Apparently no one kept it going after I passed it out... maybe I mislabeled maybe they mislabeled who knows. i shouldn't have let that girl go though. I dont make that mistake now guaranteed hahahaha

It has a very deep creeper high. super creeper high. all of a sudden BAM you are fucked up. The aroma was musty with some tangerine/citrus... on the vine/growing it was very tangerine-y. Branched easily. Grew like a sat dominant plant. 8-9 weeks ready to harvest.

Would love to have that girl back on the team here on Maui...

I have a cut of ATF in the mom room. Not sure of its authenticity as the "original" ATF/MTF but it is not hard to find in the PNW. I've also read rumor/possibility of "Tang" and MTF being one and the same, never tried the Tang clone so I have no opinion but there is similarity's in their descriptions. 1

I've been searching for mtf/atf for a long time myself as well. I think its like 40 says. It's just a popular name to use. Is there some strain out there in some guys cabin in that valley???. I like to think yes. =)
