hello guys,

there is something i would like to know about flowering outdoors.
i got some maroc, grapefruit and c99 going outside and normally they start to flower around mid july up here at 55°. but now 4 marocs and 2 grapes are already developing some hairs (and i guess the others will follow soon)and i'm not sure if it are only pre-flowers or if they are really starting off.
well they are still quite small about 35-40cm i guess and last year i had a strain i created myself and it pre-flowered at hmmm when was it hmmmm i think in the beginning of may (last year) having about the same size and then the hairs dissappeard and came back at mid-july.
so....have u ever experienced some pre flowering at your plants outside or do you think flowering really has begun?
i'm also very unsure if i should feed them bio vega or bio flores right now.

Well since summer solstice was yesterday meaning it's officially summer and that the days were getting longer up until yesterday and now they will slowly get shorter. The reason your planted had hairs that went away was because when you put it out in may it the days were short enough to induce flowering. Basically the plant was put back in to veg mode till mid july when they days became short enough to trigger flowering again.

jo jolly....last year i thought that too, but now they started in mid june....
but i guess it is only preflowering because it seems like they won't develope more hairs and the others developed none at all.
well i have to check out if i can organize a cam.
