Hah, have you looked at the cost of shipping? 3-5$ a pound. Kelp meal for 10-12 bucks a pound? No deal, might as well ship your paycheck to buildasoil and stamp rube on your forehead. You are right though, the Myco/Trich products are well priced and have good CFU/propagule count.

Seasoil is good stuff, a little hot out of the bag if I recall, but the only mix I've seen it used in had a kitchen sink style approach to amendments.

I emailed West Creek Farms yesterday about rice hulls. 3.33 cubic yards (850lb for freight estimate), $185 pick up only. No deliveries to the Island and no piggybacking on other peoples orders hehe. It looks that $13-30 bucks per 50lb bag undelivered is an average price from other retailers (Americans), so the price is good.

A few breweries have opened up around here lately, going to poke my head in again for something other than beer and see if they're amicable. All the U-Brew's I've called locally responded as if I had seven heads and wanted a bag of pre-drowned kittens.

I just grabbed a bag of post-drowned from them... no wonder they were confused.

Anyone tracked down the Espoma line of products in Canada? Emailed the company this morning, but figured to ask here as well. Looks to be on Amazon/Ebay (shipped from US).

Running a few plants in a friends garden this summer and it seems simpler (re: cheaper/more reliable) than dealing with the DIY mixture I'm slowly tinkering with.
