PBP in pro-mix...herb dont burn

a friend is using pbp in pro-mix but his herb doesnt burn very well... he says he flushes periodically throughout the cycle and near the end. i think hes following the directions on the bottle. i know there has been discussion about this elsewhere but i couldnt find it. perhaps link me to the threads?

Well it's not the Pro Mix you can bet on that, it's the PBPro for sure.

PBPro is not organic, it has an organic and a hydro component that work together so you MUST obey the same rules than with GH or any other inorganic fert and flush 15 or so days before harvest.
I've grown two crops using that very combination of substrate and fert and had some sweet herd so it should be doable.

is it dry? I've harvested plants with ZERO flush using pbp...and it burned just like it should. It didn't burn as clean as I would prefer, but it burned.

its dried fine..it crackles a little when it burns which from my experience usually from unflushed mineral salts. the joints go out after a few puffs,,,

I use a pro-mix based soil mix with the botanicare line and have only experienced some "crackeling" when grown in hydro with no flush. I flush my soil plants for a week and a half and do not have that problem.

I followed Sub's advice and got some Jamaican Bat shit, and use that and mollases in a tea the last 3-4 weeks. Oh, I also use PBP pro too, Veg and Bloom, then switch to bat tea
