I grew Dutch Passions Oasis, in my 2nd week in curing and my buds have no smell. I'm curing in mason jars and opening the lids twice a day for about 15 min.The high and taste is good. How do you get that good smell? Any one have any ideas?

It's just because Oasis is a 'Northern Lights' strain. They are known for having low smell.

Give it some time, sometimes it takes up to 6 weeks to fully cure. All the while, the smell is getting better. It will cure to a fruity smell, you won't get a dank smell.

yeah...my northern lights #5 had no smell until after 1 months cure. Now 3-4 months of curing and it has a great sour lemon smell. Give it some time

you guys/gals were right. Most of my oasis smells real nice right now . kinda a light fruity smell, real mellow. Taste real good to.

But I have 1 jar that smells real bad.

Kinda like how I read mold is described as smelling (amonia, cat PP) but I dont see any mold, the buds just look like all the other buds

When the plants were growing, they all grew differently, one was even deformed , but thats not the one that smells bad though.

about the mouldy smellin 1, the mould will(plz any1 tell me if this is wrong) the mould would actually be inside the buds in the middle, so u need to rip them open to properly check. that is how it has been explained to me about mould in weed, if its incorrec6t, i apologise.

The mould will show itself under a scope as webs crossing all over the place. I had a whole jar go mouldy on me a couple harvests ago. There are different types of mould also. You can always make hash or oil out of it tho. It did have a mouldy sweaty smell to it too.

what to do with moldy bud. I still have it. my common sence (what little I have left) tells me to throw it away

. but i just cant bring myself to do it:(

All I can see on the bud is a few small white dots, kinda like salt on one of those big pretzils. but it smells real bad.

DONT TOSS IT! You can still make some Hash out of it. Or Honey oil. As long as the glands are separated from the plant matter you'll be fine. Just dont scrap it.
