A little cello for you to groove on while you read this write up.... kinda how the 'Lemon Cello' makes me feel.

'Lemon Cello'

After many request to get access to this older BC gem in a pure form, we have decided to offer the genetics in the purest form obtainable from this old BC elite equatorial expression, now reaching her 20th anniversary. 'Lemon Cello' is the varietal name we are giving to the Sweet Skunk S1 generation, created by mating pollen induced from the original SS #10 clone, reversed and fertilized to herself, to produce a recombination generation for your use. An excellent breeders tool, from the original clone that became a BC legend.

These plants have a unique flavour and scent that is unforgettable to any that have tried it; the original girl is blessed with an unmistakable lemon scent that has been described as country time lemonade, especially in separated resins. She sports a soaring equatorial high that is not for the unseasoned smoker, and produces full melt dry sieve or water hash that will impress any connoisseur of the finest resins. Derived from equatorial origins, indoor growers should be aware of the prominent stretch that she will demonstrate during the first 4 weeks of flowering, so early pruning is recommended for wider plants that will each form long, slender and highly resinous flowers. She is excellent indoors, outdoors in warmer climates, and especially bountiful in sunny greenhouse environments. Depending on your preferences and the conditions of your environment, you should expect her to flower for 10-12 weeks, but I have also seen excellent specimens harvested as early as 9 weeks. Expect above average yield in well lit gardens, a unique soaring effect that can go for ages, and an unmistakeable smell that lingers in the air after smoking which entices everyone within smelling distance.

Because, although I have not grown any out thru bloom, I have popped 3 seeds and none of the three look anything like that. I'll charge camera and put up a pic.

OTOH, 77 days, she looks done.

Well, camera wasn't as dead as I thought.

This is one of the three that were gemed. She has been under 600w hps for 14 days. Could there be that much of a difference? I know about phenotypes but those leaves look very sativa and again, they do look very good.

Thanks Terps and I took her this morning at day 73-74, she had a kind of soapy, hazey type smell while growing but when I cut her down the fizzy lemon smell she's known for has come through.
So fizzy lemon haze
I'll post a smoke report in a couple of weeks

have been looking to terpene tests at sc labs and found this interesting.

h3p2u5 stands for cherry limeade winner of emerald 2015 cup. aside for really impressive - more than twice - terpene content the overall terpenes ratio looks rather similar to me. the claimed genetics is cookies x black lime. Chimera considers cookies to be caryophyllene dominant variety. sc labs have 2 terpene tests for cookies. both really reach for caryophyllene.

now, i couldn't find any black lime terpene test besides for concentrate. all previous pictures were for flowers. again, huge spikes for caryophyllene and limonene.

my curiosity
1. is it actually possible to get such different terpene ratios with really low caryophyllene and limonene spikes (cherry limeade) from 2 caryophyllene rich varieties (gsc x black lime)?
2. how is it possible that both sweet skunk - whatever it is - and cherry limeade terpene profiles look so similar?
