Highland Mexican or Frankies Incense Haze

So I'm trying to figure out which one of these two strains I would go with. I've read through the forums and have seen the differences in the strains for the most part. There isn't too much info on this Frankie's, and not many in depth smoke reports on the NYC "Piff" everyone seems to have smoked in that area other than it's awesome and smells like piss and incense. I don't know maybe I haven't looked hard enough.

With the Highland Mex BB you get some great anecdotal smoke reports. It seems like what I'm looking for. The only thing is growing it indoors and how it will yield. Also is it more difficult to grow because of size, or is it tricky on nutes? And I've heard that these seeds are getting older now and have seen varying results in germination which only says so much . But it's a risk I'm willing to take to get some of that smoke, or would the Frankies be more of what I'm looking for? Can't afford both right now.

Part of me says Highland Mexican cuz they won't be around again, but than this Frankies maybe a whole lot easier to grow and get better yields with an A1 first class sativa smoke. Also which one has a higher ceiling and which one lasts longer would be nice to know.

So if anyone who has smoked both strains has any feedback it would be much appreciated. Thx in advance.

The Conroy/African Jack sounds like another good sativa offering to consider. Congolese Red x Jack. There is a few folks on here growing it but no finished reports as of yet. But if I was a gambling man...

I have not seen any HM x BB seeds available for a while. They might already be sold out?

More reports of the Frankie's are sure to pop up over the next few months. But as far as his new regular offerings Frankie's, and The Conroy sound like safe bets. If you can find the HM x BB seeds they seem like a good investment. Frankie's and Conroy sound like they would be a bit easier to grow and might yield quite a bit more than the Highland Mex.

Hey there,

Im going to chime in a little I haven't tried the Frankies Incense haze, so cant comment (it certainly has my interest!), but re; highland mexcian x blueberry, don't let this pass you by.
I believe that the highland mexican is an incredible underground gift. Stealthy almost, its no idle cross from DJ and Chimera (as if it would be) . The F1 itself is an incredible smoke, but the F2's and beyond are phenomenal. What you get with HM x BB is a gateway to endless possibilities and what I believe to be an attempt to find a designer "remake" of the fables Highland Oaxacan gold as well as many others. The Blueberry (s) that went into this cross are a one off. The main male is the famed B130 male used in the F-13, Blue moonshine, Grape Krush etc. This is legendary male is well documented elsewhere, BUT Chimera himself has said that he also used additional blueberry pollen, some of it from reversed Grape krush etc...who knows maybe even reverse sex f-13's ?? The F2's are extremely diverse, from stout kush like purple 10 weekers, 7 week F-13 alikes but more commonly plants which are dead ringers for the HOG. Im talking tall lanky, skinny leaved blood red stems, blood red and light purple calyx tips, going to 12-13 weeks. Smells from creamy spicy-sweet berry incense to super sweet fruity bubblegum but often with a pure sativa earthiness throughout.

What you get in a packet is a super cross, where DJ and Chimera did all the hard selection work for you. And the highs ??? Deep psychedelic, long long lasting uplifting mexican highs. Totally on a different level to the hazes.... and some are like the blue moonshine, deep spicy hashy with deep relaxing yet trippy clear highs...anyone remember Kouros ? The YSL aftershave ? that smell springs to mind. And forsure there is more in there, endless possibilities in the f3' and upwards.

Basically from 1 pack of ten with an open pollination, you have a life time hobby in the making. One of the most original and unique projects ever I feel. If any are left out there grab them...people will kick themselves for passing up on this in the future.

Im sure the Frankies has these qualities too, but certainly will be very different (unique in its own right) but the genetics of this HM x BB , their heritage, quality, and repute of the breeders are extremely rare even in todays expanding cannabis industry.

And don't be put off, this plant grows pretty easy inside if you are familiar with pure sativas (and Id treat as such for the most part) keep your wits about you,top and bend or scrog. As someone else said, it thrives in drier environments, tolerates hot and cool (in fact it does best IMO when day temps are in the 30-33c range and nights down to 14-16c. Its well worth it and great fun to play with, great vigour and its likes feeding, but will burn easy...thats the tricky bit. Likes a rich organic soil, but will soon exhaust that, and then needs low level regular organic feeds in flower...it loves Fish mix (even in flower) and bit of bloom, but keep it light 1/3-1/2 strength. She will still make them leaves golden and drop them late in flower, but flowers stay fat and healthy right through.

Did I say this is a rare rare treat ?

Peace M313
