Spurr, you are quite the trip. I've seen you get you ass handed to you over shit you don't understand and you are doing it here too. But I'm not going to go down that road with you. Mostly because I don't have the time for bullshit like that; As you seem to have endless amounts of time for bickering on the internet.
Good luck to you, with your attitude you will need it. |

Here's a very recent good and long news article:
Some Banks Are Working With Marijuana Businesses, But They Remain Wary Quote:

Here's a good article from the local North West Leaf glossy from WA State a friend sent me last week. Nothing new that hasn't been discussed at least in passing in this thread, but worth reading for sure.
The Bank Battle

Well, I was told MBank is no longer willing to serve Cannabis businesses, such as producers, processors and retailers, even in OR. I'll wait to get confirmation to update the post on the first page.

Beta, this is a very interesting thread.
I myself have no use for banks of any kind since all my assets are tied up in galactic intelligence credits or buried on distant asteroids. But it seems the solution, and I believe I've read something about this, the Biz and its ancillaries would be best off chartering their own bank without the consent or insurance of the Fed. This would not constitute a separate currency, simply a private banking institution. I believe the Mormons and Scientologists have tried this but of course they are in quasi-religious businesses meaning they only deal in fictious diatribe, dairy products and magic underwear. RMJ and MMJ are coporeal and thus subject to stricter guidelines. But I ramble, if the Biz structured its own banking system, individuals would be free to use either a traditional bank or support this other system. It may start some sort of war, but it might be worth it in the long run. Meanwhile, I think your effort to offer clear minded information about traditional banks that are open to charging everyone for the use of their own money regardless of their business pursuits is a valiant and wothwhile endeavor. People may choose wisely with the proper information. Myself, I prefer my people's trusted method of burying my gold beneath a fully integrated matter/anti-matter array with combination lock. It has worked for us these past millenia. Excellent thread. I must power down now. DA

Should be interesting(probably bad)now that Lynch is taking over for holder. We will
see if the memorandums that he sent out stay or go. |

Interesting thread. Whilst it mostly relates to the US it would be interesting to know the situation in the UK. Seems to be a lot of online growshops which accept visa/mastercard/paypal for grow accessories so should be ok in the UK. We dont have the medical cannabis outlets like in US so im only talkin about grow accessories lights, soil etc. Not buds! Never will happen in the UK.
