Nepali Temple

Any background information on the Nepali and its effects would be most welcome. And has this been crossed to Jack, or SS? Thanks.

Hey Expanse..

I would love to know more as well. I've always loved the landrace crosses from the last round. The Burmese x BB cross for example.. I know the plants of this area quite well so I have quite an attachment to these hybrid types..

Most specimens from North India/Nepal are narrow leaf leaning although you do get more wide leaf expressions occurring the further you get to Pakistan, Kashmir etc. It's a real melting pot up there of different genetics flying around.

I think one thing you can be sure of though is that it'll be a great representation of cannabis from that area. All of Chimera's work with landrace genes has been exceptional.. By the way it's crossed with Jack presently from the offering at a Canadian seedbank.. So regular, not feminised like the SS crosses.

As to the high, if it is like Nepalese Temple ball hash then it'll likely be quite direct, dreamy, strong and leaning towards a narrow leaf effect... With the Jack in the mix though I can only guess..........

Thanks for that info Kalbhairav.

Would you say most phenos of the Burmese/BB conform to the 'official' strain description?

Looking for something clear, calm, and powerfully psychedelic, but without either a heavy indica feeling or excessive mental psycoactivity (endless introspection), if that makes much sense.

The Fighting Buddha is excellent. It hasn't made an appearance here for a while and most likely be missed until someone produces a great grow of it again. My good friend Mayan has grown this quite a few times and always comments on the superiority of the head.

From the reports most tell of energetic and social/happy effect with heightened colours and sound. Quite tropical in taste and very worth trying.

Compared with the Nepalese Temple I would guess that the BF is going to be more narrow leaf in effect. Nepalese genetics are strong but a little more muddy (in my experience).

If it is the same one reeferman had then it's a pretty decent strain, up and happy high, wasn't terrible muddy unless smoked in excess (in my opinion anyways) just a fun happy high and good potency.

Yes, Nepalese has a lovely social happy expansive quality. But in comparison to varietals that originate closer to the equator or in more tropical areas I would say it's pretty different and not as clear. Depending exactly where it has come from, there are some Nepalese specimens that could be considered pretty WLD in appearance and effect. There are some great narrow leaf expressions also. Hash from that area can vary drastically from valley to valley.

I don't think Chi's Nepal Temple mother will be the same as the Reef offering - In fact I can guarantee it.

no problemo.

oh shit, i have no space, cannot grow right now, too many seeds in my possession and still im sure i will spend money on Nepalese Temple x Jack seeds...i need help

From Dj Short:

Nepalese temple balls

The Buddhists have a saying: "May all beings be happy." They also have a hash to back it up with: black finger rubbings from high in the Himalayas. This was some of my all-time favorite.

Nepalese is among the most cerebral of hashish. A strong yet pleasant head journey packed in every puff. This is some of the happiest hash I have experienced. The taste is spicy/fruity/earthen and among the most enjoyable of hash flavors. Most Nepalese hash is from rubbings, although I have heard from travelers to the area that screened and pressed varieties are available.

Simply put: Nepalese Temple Ball is some of the happiest, fruitiest and most pleasantly flavorful, highest quality hash that I have ever experienced.

I get what you're saying, for me the nepalese was more like wrap yourself in a warm blanket with a hot bowl of food on a winter day whereas a tropical sativa would be more of a spring/summer let's go outside and explore or play sports type of deal (sorry for being so generalistic.)
