usually discounts are given in the form of freebies like light hangers or free ducting ,you can always ask for cash discounts

It really depends on the relationship you build with the shop.

Our shops give discounts on certain brands, amount you buy, relationships (chat em up), and form of payment. Cash talks.

dunno why people think they entitled to discounts at shops
at the end of the day there are tonnes of shops about now and so prices are competitive as it is. 700 quid might be a bit to you but it aint really shit to the shop, plus you'll make that back x amount of times over or atleast save it if u don't sell so why u feel u should get shit for cheap is beyond me. |

its good practice for any business to keep there customers happy, especially with all the competition out there. so giving some one a deal as small as it may be the customer leaves happy and thinking ill come back here.
i got a cool little grinder at the weekend for free and i only spent 30 euro.

on the other hand hydro shops are robbing c**nts. the prices they charge for gear is ridicules to. my local store which i dont go to anymore are stupid. ask them for advice on a product and they read the label then tell me what the label says. i can read lol
