Chimera Fem Photos
Hi everyone. Wanted to post a couple of photos of some the girls occupying the grow room. I am currently flowering Schnazzleberry #3, Hawaiian Spice, Haze x Sweet Skunk. They are about 32 days into flower under LED and doing nicely. I flipped them early out of fear of height issues but i needn't had worried. They stretched 2x in 3gal pots. The schnazz looks like it will be done first followed by the Hawaiian the haze last. Schnazz has a nice bushy habit and the haze brached out nicely. The hawaiian resisted branching even with some lst. She is definitely columnar with a central shoot (which is filling in). The schnazz #3 started off with a sativa-like pheno but quickly changed. Don't know the who the father is ( Jack, SS, or other) The Hawaiian leans the most sativa phenotypically followed by Haze. They were very vigorous in veg and have had no problem with them what so ever. Just distilled H2O with occasional calmag. One thing i will point out is the smell on the haze ss...strait up eucalyptus! strong too...its on the leaves, stem, flower and rubbing the stem releases the fragrance like Vick's vapor rub. Love it! the hawaiian has a nice softer fruity smell and schnazz has a fruity, skunky, earthy smell which is intoxicating. anyhow, i'll post more as they mature. enjoy...

schnazz#3
this is the schnazz#3 at day 47. she has filled in more but not as much as would have hoped. it has been very cold in the room last 8 days and i had to put a space heater just to get temps to 72degs. i am attributing the slow growth to that so we will see in another week or so if there are any dramatic changes with the warmer room. She lost her fruity smell and now just smells of skunk and earth with a musky/wood undertone. to me she smell like a cut of old time moonshine that i have. the difference is the OTM has a sweet berry smell to go with the skunk and earth. BTW, the schnazz#3 scent is not mild. its in your face pungent and commands respect like it or not....personally i love stinky weed. She smell like she will be potent.

Church bells ringing
Ok...4 days ago i smelled the Incense Haze x SS and to my horror noticed that the eucalyptus smell that predominated her aroma was not as strong and she had developed a noticeable black pepper scent. I love pepper because i usually get it with good hazes but i love the eucalyptus much more. So today pulled her out for her photo shoot and a hose down when...wait..is that...could it be....i closed my eyes and put my nose close to her and was instantly transported to church! No mistaking the scent for " it kinda smells like incense if i really try hard to put the smell into words" this was straight up, no question about it incenses! The smell is undeniable. it smell like the inside of a church period. Intoxicating, soft almost powdery patchouli, church incense. this is what i remember smelling as i smoked nyc haze almost 15 years ago. It is amazing how smelling something familiar even after much time has passed quickly brings back memories. If she smokes nearly as well as she smells chimera has a real winner...seriously.

Thanks Lester. I switched over to led because of heat issues in the summers and noticed lower yields but the buds are equally if not more frostier with led. I will grow out the clones of these girls with HPS next time around and see if I see a huge difference. I will post dry weight at the end of this run.
