I have used Western Union many times in the past and I am slightly confused why I need your banking information?
You go show ID, pay a commission fee and they send your specified ID to an individual in a certain city. The recipient must have ID that matches as well as the MTCN, Money Transfer Control Number, provided to him by the sender. Where does a bank come into play?

this method transfers money direct to a bank account
rather than having to go to a WU outlet and get cash that then has to be banked OP

I have the fonds on my credit card but by using western union my bank doesn't authorize the transaction... you guys have the same experience or it's just me?
im in EU thanks
