I have used Western Union many times in the past and I am slightly confused why I need your banking information?

You go show ID, pay a commission fee and they send your specified ID to an individual in a certain city. The recipient must have ID that matches as well as the MTCN, Money Transfer Control Number, provided to him by the sender.

Where does a bank come into play?

I have the fonds on my credit card but by using western union my bank doesn't authorize the transaction... you guys have the same experience or it's just me?
