Hardening Fast Version Clones to prevent early flowering.
I have a green poison fv mom that i have been vegging for a few months. I am planning to put out 100+ clones and I know that plants with any kind of autoflowering genetics are more susceptible to premature flowering when placing clones outdoors in the spring. What is the best route to go from a 24 hour light schedule to roughly 14.5-15 hour daylight schedule without flowering early. I am hoping for them to continue to veg so i do not end up with tiny plants.
I was thinking about going to an interupted light schedule a month or so before i plan to take them outside. from 24/0 to 15 on, 3 off. 3 on. and 3 off again. Advice needed.

Indeed its not impossible to clone autos ...
many have but just as many will remind you that its dumb thing to do, understand that these are autos and from the moment they germ, the clock is running, frankly you can't do a thing but adapt to the plants needs avoid at all costs of giving them 24/7 light, all life on this planet needs some rest, including you, understand that when plants 'sleep' they move food from the leaf zone to the rootzone and visa versa, you need to understand this or forever have the smallest plants on ICMAG, as a minimum stick to 18/6 for autos permanently, then work on the amount of light you give them, always include a small fan ....as yes plants breathe too good luck "V" |

In most cases the colors are reacting to falling temperatures both in the air, and below ground, tho this becoming very popular with some modern strains, that many may say are over bred?

Im not talking about autoflowering plants. It does say sweet seeds fast version. Its also posted in the sweet seeds section. and your comment about the color is completely inaccurate. Look into the Sweet Seeds Red Automatic line. Over 80% turn amazing reds and purples. thanks for your oldschool opinions but please if you dont know what im talking about dont chime in. false information is already everywhere in these forums.

But the main question is about hardening clones from fast version plants and the light cycle transition. please do not muddy up my thread.

i have all the information on the fast version strains tommy g. I love sweet seeds. you guys are my go to breeder hands down. your autoflowers are top notch.
I am really only puzzled about the light schedule tranistion for fast version clones. I am currently vegging the mom 24/0 in an auto flower room. When i take clones in the spring i do not want to have any problems with early flowering when i move them outdoors. I know this can be a problem especially with photoperiod plants that have autoflowering or early flowering genetics breed into them. I was thinking about going to an interupted light schedule a month or so before i plan to take them outside. from 24/0 to 15 on, 3 off. 3 on. and 3 off again. thanks again. |
