This morning I bought an XMAS present for myself;

Elite: Dangerous with the future expansion pack option. https://www.elitedangerous.com/

Also I ordered the Thrustmaster T. Flight Hands On Throttle-And-Stick that is supposed to be the best bang for the buck for this game in terms of an afforable entry-level HOTAS system.

Anyone here got this game?

Let's do some stoner space piloting together?

If you are not familiar with this game;

The first installment in this series is released in 1984, second in 1993,third in 1995, that makes this the fourth one - and this was crowdfunded by fans.

Focused around space battles and trading, it's an control-heavy space simulator that has lots of depth, and one of the neatest feature of the game for me as a tripping stoner is the extended the use of procedural generation, allowing us players to fly down into a unique cloudscape for every planet of every size in a galaxy containing billions of stars.

Nobody is trippin' balls at this 1:1 scale model of the milky way?

This site really surprised me, I thought I'd get at least a few fellow gamers to this thread.

But no, everybody's using all their money for either weed or grow equipment, no money for games?

I am a horrible pilot..kept crashing on my friends simulator a few years back....
