BOG LSD - Test Grows - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Trial Grow LSD Boggie style.

BOG old style LSD, Beans cracked in April just in time to take a place in my outdoor medical grow.

Began with the intentions of ScrOGing this girl, but after a month of fighting with her she won out and never stopped heading up, up and out, a Monster LSD tree! (Ladder 6' tall, cage 6' across).

Lost some bottom branches due to mole action, found LSD's branches to be of differing sizes with about 1/3 growing into a much larger diameter than others. These larger branches were randomly scattered along the main stem with no real pattern to their placement.

This LSD girl carried some strong Lemon scents in her branches during veg stage. I have found the dried/cured medicine to be on the Fuel flavor side. Smooth and flavorful with an Active/Up vibe.
Buds were firm with good Calyx to leaf ratio, not a bad trim.

I was forced to harvest this beauty early due to my rainy wet coastal conditions @ 45* latt., she would have loved another 2 weeks finishing time. S. Oregon or N. California would be a better outdoor climate or grown in a greenhouse setup for less than ideal finishing conditions of a mid-late October harvest window.

Given that early harvest I was amazed in the harvest weight on this girl, her flowering began late August but proceeded along quickly given the less than ideal outdoor conditions she experienced. I would guess that LSD would great under lights given the hearty growth I witnessed outdoors. Just watch your height as this girl likes to spread out!

Thanks for your report. LSD gets big and yields well but it does take longer to finish than most of mine. Indoors you can plan on ten weeks flowering but the yields are worth the time and the product of two out of three females tested was top notch sativa high lemon bud.

It might need light dep to finish outside for more northerly or higher growers...

Well worth the wait if you have the climate to grow outdoors otherwise force her to flower early or raise indoors. Beautiful girl and great medicine...

Hope to give LSD an inside grow down the road so I can enjoy her at her best!
