Erdbeer is an extremely mold resistant variety...rock hard strawberry buds, the rain just rolls off them !

Sprinkl, You hit the nail on the spot..
Something very close to that will be done.. Hp2 to be an early strain, might not be able to do this without infusing some earlier genes to it, but this is not project that will be ready in the fall, no way. More like in 3-5 years as i want it to be somewhat stable too, and a secure September finisher for me at 57 +-1 Lat. |

@bigbag, I had quite a few mole problems last year with the erdbeer strain (green and black pheno, at 54lat). However it is still an recommendable strain with a distinct taste and interesting appearance but mean yield.

The GG on the HFH website is 'taken from a batch of GG#1 grown for years in the harsh Ural Mountains(Russia and Kazakhstan)'.
I think Esbe used GG#3 in Danish Gold though, that could be the root of the confusion. |

@japdam
I remembered wrong.. But was so shure that i was the #3, maybe because I wished it to be the #3 as I have #1 and #2, and will be sent some HFH GG too, but, I hope this one is earlier than the #1 I have already. |

Iīll be ordering some Eirdbei seeds soon to, but it is the LBH version, ans originally the Frisian version of Erbeer, containing JH, Chitral, BD and the Erdbeer cut I think.
So not reallly much Erdbeer in it, but, is a goo solid strain that is very early and have good potency and mold resistance as LBH has selected for M.Resistance between F3-F5, now it is F7 I think.. I hope that on to be a good breeder thou as it is supposed to yield heavy and still seem to have a lot of vigour in them, ending up 2,5m+ at harvest. Theyīve been in Open Pollination between F5-F7, so hopefully I can fins some nice specimens that will suit some of the HFH strains. |
