Do you know if the g13 x haze you experienced then is the tangerine dream they sell now?

No clue hopefully they didn't change it but they probably did it was given to me by progressive options an LA clone dispensary. I've been saying I was going to order those beans since 08 would serve me right if it's not the same

Haha sorry for the late response.
Cookies Kush, yeah I remember them! I had El Fuego (DNA Genetics) and C99 (FemaleSeeds) with Cookies Kush, and Cookies Kush smoke was better than those two.
I know some people would agree with me with that CK strain. The structure and yield was below C99,
but I really liked the smell, bag apparel and high of those CKs.
I had 2 very similar looking CKs, but smell and taste was a little different in them, I liked them both tho.
Buds weren't so dense, but they looked just like the Cookies buds I've seen in pics, very beautiful

The high was like made for me All-day-smoke, from the morning coffee till evening tea, not the strongest. But when you light up the joint, and inhale you'll feel like you're in a bakery

So different opinions about this strain. So it seems very unstable. I guess with 20 seeds you can get really shit or all gems.

I crossed the one I call ms. wake'n'bake with handsome Afghan Kush male.

Last few years I have grown a few Barney farm strains so I thought I'd share my 2cents here.

First I'd like to say that poor germ rates can be caused by seeds being old from poor storage. What defines old and poor storage? IMO seeds over 2 years old are in my book starting to get old...especially if you are looking for close to 100% germ rates, which I think most people are considering we are paying cca 10euros a seed. Poor storage? I'm guessing unstable temps and RH.

So I think seed companies should have the date of production on the seed pack. Ace seeds does this.

From the seeds (about 25) I've sown they had about a 35% germ rate...but most were bought from a growshop who had them for who knows how long....The 2 freebie seeds I got from the BARneys Farm Stall at the Prag cannabis festival of Cookies Kush both germed and are doing fine although one is a bit of a runt.
From the clones I've tried from the dispensary the LSD was nice.

I've ran Critical Kush and got 2 phenos. The first grew huge but airy buds, yielded about 2.5 oz in a 3 gal smart pot under 400w. She had a sweet smell but lost it at the end of flower. End product was pure caca! I had a hard time giving it away to friends for free.

The second pheno was the keeper. Yielded just a little more than the first pheno but had that powerful og stank through veg and flower. Buds were big and dense, good resin production, potency was high but could be higher. Buds cure to a og/caramel smell and taste. Awesome bud just not the holy grail in terms of what I'm looking for. I'm more into the fruity smells. I've had so many og and chem strains that it's nothing special to me anymore.

No germination issues for me and only got those 2 phenos from 6 beans

I'm keeping the Critical Kush long enough to pollinate her with one of my crosses and then she'll probably exit my garden. I'm interested in their pineapple chunk, I have a few friends who rave about pc

the 3 seeds from barney's though are all doing ok and goin fine

would have thought the rare dankness would be much better in germination rate as i have heared so many good things about theyr genetics
i germ all my seeds the same way and must say im really dissapointed in them .. first i germed 6 and only 3 made it above soil

i assumed i did something wrong so i put 2 more scotts between towels to get at least 5. both didnt make it. one did germ and get a small root but when i had put it in soil it didnt come up. second one just cracked and i waited another day for it to get a small tail but when i looked next day i could see through the crack that the root in there turned brown so no good either

i wish there was a way to adress the seed company's about this but since most only sell as souvenirs they dont reply to any contact about germination issues :(

hope the 3 i have are at least gonna produce me a good female

greets SIN
So how did your Scott's OG end up coming out?

i pop beans all the time and rarely use clones. i have a high success rate in popping seeds until recently. 15 royal queen seeds died well 3 survived. i didnt blame anyone it was my fault damping off.

most of the time its the growers problems not the seed company but some growers cant see the faults they make and just blame every one else.

This.

Ive germed a bunch of Barneys seeds and had 100% success with very vigorous seedlings. Ive grown LSD, Pineapple chunk, Vanilla kush, cookies kush and one or 2 others.

There are so many little things ppl can fuqq up with germination. Using heatpads are just one way to boil seeds. I must have killed 500usd of seeds until i realized my errors and went back to germing straight into dirt in a prewarmed room around 26-27degrees. Ever since germing straight into dirt ive achieved basically 100% germ rates.
