On the other part of this topic.....I have always had good luck with barney's seeds germing after planting. Grown Pineapple Chunk, LSD, those two were awesome and in the top 10 as far as potency goes for strains I've grown. Grew the tangerine dream and liberty haze. Those two sucked big time. Both took forever to finish(picked at 10 weeks and still could've went longer). Red Dragon was killer smoke, real finicky plant, hates water. Grew his Critical Kush, killer plant, rock hard buds, real potent. Did both of his cbd offerings. They were ok, nothing to write home about though. Did a 3 pack ach of them. With all those strains, I never had a seed that didn't come up. 100% germ every single time. |

I've grown several strains of Barneys Farm seeds and have had good luck with all. I am right now germinating a few Utopia Haze seeds for next falls harvest.
Derry Brett and his wife Sissy put out some great genetics as far as I'm concerned. Jon 54

I have grown Barneys Farm and I would not recommend it to anyone. Do yourself a favor and buy some Karma Genetics, Hortilab, or anything from DNA/reserva privada, I loved the Kosher Kush.
The fact that Barneys Farm does not have a subforum in the vendors section or its own forum anywhere else should be enough to convince you.

We have done plenty of Barney's stuff but all were fem. mostly Pineapple CHunk. But last season got a 5 pack of Critical Kush that was some straight up dank tested 22.25% on the outdoor. Out of the 5 pack there were 3 pheno's...

there are allot of different factors to include when purchasing germinating seeds, just because there not on the bay is a laughable comment.
go barneys go

me and some friends had a few strains from barneys, and we all had problems with germination, some seed even were still small and whiteish, the outcome wasnt impressive neighter, but i think there are still some gems to be found in barneys stuff

I think it's a little too hit and miss for me. I did have a nice lsd from them, really peppery taste, decent yield but that was about it.
There's just such a massive amount of breeders out there now that unless you are sponsoring the Cannabis Cup (and astonishingly enough, winning), you mostly rely on word of mouth to get known. The majority of the super hyped breeders don't seem to be much cop. My new seed policy is that I must be able to trace it back to a landrace within 2 crosses at an absolute maximum, 1 is preferable. I think I might stumble across some absolute gems this way. |

If you are looking for good genetics, you should check out the smaller (private) breeders
they often offer you better quality genetics than the big seed companys, and they also can offer you much more infos on their product than big seed companys because they actually grow it themselves (lol) in general if you find a strain that you think fits your needs, do some research online before you buy then

I've been rocking a clone of lsd for several years she still impresses me to this day. my last one was 8' by 7' . I grew the dr grinspoon in 2000. Grinspoon is the smallest most fragile plant I have ever grown but the stems were covered with resin I remember crumbling the stems up and smoking it. Real fire but light I didn't know it had a name back then.
