My Sweet Skunk Fem and her crosses....

I was gifted a single Chimera Sweet Skunk that is about a month into flower. I did not top it, as I was interested in its unaltered structure. It stretched about 3x its flipped height, and remained quite tight on it's branching, branches go out in about a 60 degree angle. It smells of lemon-lime soda with a touch of kitchen herbs. Resin production is very good, coming out onto her thin smaller leaves to almost the tips. It is in a 7 gallon fabric container in an amended living organic soil I make myself, sunning herself under her own 375w LED with the added glow of neighboring HPS. She seems very vigorous and loving life. She clones rather easily to boot.

I will be investigating on how to put up pictures on this site, and if successful I will have some up soon.

This beauty, and my obsession with great hazes, has prompted me to order a pack of Chimera's Fem Haze x SS. Especially after I read that the haze used in this line is the same haze used in the Jack male line, the Frankie's Incense Haze. These are on their way hopefully safe and sound to me and I will be adding these to the mix.

A friend has ordered the Chimera Fem Sour D. x SS. I will be hitting him up for a trade on a seed or two, so hopefully I will have one or two of these to add to the mix as well.

So upcoming we will have the single SS S1, as well as a pack of Fem Haze x SS (popped as space allows) and hopefully a Sour D. x SS as well. I am dying to order the Hawaiian Spice x SS cross too, and I am a bit of a bean ordering addict, so these too may be included.

If anyone has any suggestions or comments pertaining to these please feel free to share, and thanks to all for stopping by to see what I'm up to. Thanks to Chimera as well for bringing these wonderful seeds to all of us.

As a sativa lover, I'm excited to see these results. Where did you read that the ISSxhaze uses the Frankie's incense haze?

D3pth, thanks for the info! It's good to hear about the iss. I know what you mean about being addicted to ordering seeds, as soon as I saw these new strains up I jumped on it, info or not I don't care. Not hard to figure out how sometging is going to be when the cross is listed.

I'm growing out the Hawaiin spice and mk x iss right now. Hopefully I'll have pictures up tonight or tomorrow. Just started flowering yesterday, the Hawaiin is the tallest plant by far in my garden, really thin leaves. Fruity stem/sap smell. Extremely vigorous.

snooze: Thanks for poppin in... I agree on the whole description thing...it's pretty easy to take an educated guess as to the ballpark you'll end up in. There seemed to be a lot of drama over the lack of descriptions a few months back. I missed out on the Frankie's x Jack Reg's by procrastinating (GRRRR), so I had to snatch up the fems crossed to the SS.

I did end up getting the Hawaiian cross too, along with Chimera's Modern Mix as a freebie (I hope there's a Frankie Jack in there).

Hey mistermagoo: sorry to hear your bad news, from what I have been reading there are plenty more to drop soon. I'm all over the Frankies Jack and the Sour Jack.

My Frankenskunks (great name I saw in another thread, thanks for that one Treebeard) arrived the other day and 3 were started.

definitely interested in this run. I'm looking into some Sweet Skunk stuff. The Frankies Haze x Sweet Skunk is probably the one.... Maybe some SS x SS.... or Grapefruit x Sweet Skunk..

You're welcome D3pth, I like the sound of it. Chimera understandably wants to avoid further confusion by naming it that as there is no skunk present in the genes. So another will have to do. Looking forward to the Franks Haze x SS!
