Blockhead
Hello all!
Anyone running or have some experience with Chimera's OP of Steve's Blockhead? Got a few running right now, still seedlings but goodness there's some interesting phenos in this batch. One had side branches coming from the second node already (first three leaf'd nodes), and I don't mean little signs of branching, I mean branching longer than the plant is tall by now. Just curious about what to look out for

There is a purely evil pheno with the inner leaflets poking up like Devil's horns. Look for it if you enjoy being curled up on the couch in terror and swatting at all the evil little bats swarming around your head...

I actually have a pheno where the leaflets are definitely curling, looking quite mutantish. Such plants usually have interesting traits that come out, let's see. Thanks for the info CHEFfy!

Hi lightviber999, my 3 phenos were all very beautiful plants. They didn't really want to branch outward so much so I'd plan on growing more per sqft if you are used to growing bushy plants. There is a lot of growth in a tight area once flowered. I had spears on top of spears which was a trip. It's like they were hiding out where the popcorn should have been. The two I took down last night both smelled like blueberries, one with powdered sugar and the other a fine chocolate. Here they are at 60 days.
First four pics are the chocolate and the rest are the powdered sugar. Both with artificial blueberry pancake syrup as well. The one I picked last week smelled of grapefruits more. The choco one has a hint of citrus as well but not pronounced. |

I'm looking forward to picking some of these up just to try some Original Blockhead! Excited to try all the famed phenos but definitely interested in that wicked P19 leaner, that pheno alone would make it all worth it. Glad Chimera took the time to bring back a classic
. Take care 1

Been puffing on this pheno for a couple days and it's very enjoyable. Bag appeal is just so so but smell and flavor are great. Medium potency, relaxing but not couchy, and perfect for early afternoon. I've been smoking it when some of the other types wear off, leaving me burnt out and tired. Not as a 'pick me up' but a stabilizer, if that makes since to anyone. Sometimes smoking something comfortable like this is the way to go as opposed to maximum potency/ effect type strains. Sweet tooth is very apparent in these flowers. Grapefruit, berry, and sugar, but not sour candy artificial grapefruit, mellow grapefruit

I popped one of my Chimera BH's and I'm smoking the seed harvested now. I have one finishing up and one just beginning flowering. It pretty much looks like Student Teachers, and the internode distance was very close. I have not noticed any vertical leaning petiole leaves.
Bag appeal is 10/10 and the smell is mushroomy & medicinal! The high is not crazy powerful, but very good for a daily hardcore like myself. I took my seed mom to 56 days and it looked perfect. Yield was respectable, but I can do better... Having ran 1 of Steves Blockheads for a while in 2009 this plant is different but I'm not sure how. OC Last edited by Outcold; 10-12-2015 at 06:58 AM.. |

This is the pheno I kept out of the three. A little bit less of a fruity flavor, maybe a hint of grapes, but no grapefruit or blueberry vibe. More potent than the other two and a really nice plant. Nice long colas, super dense, very symmetrical, nice and frosty, tops done in 54 days and bottoms five days later. Last pics are side by side of two phenos and the more ST pheno.
