i need to light a 32 inch tall by 20 inch wide by 10 inch deep cab for 50 bucks or cheaper, and suggestions?!

ive thought about maybe buying 12-14watt CFLs?
any help welcome.

damn, another 6 inches and you could do 2 foot shoplights...

CFL's might be the best for that size cab...

maybe some of the micro growers would have a better solution.

are you in a hurry to get started?

the more planning you do now, the easier things will be down the road.

Sleepys right about the 2' shoplights, theyre the best way to go, IMHO. I reccomend you go to HomeDepot and get the MillsPride U2 30" Base cabinet.

im think 12-14 watters will suit me nicely, im gunna do a U bow type scrog with 2 plants. will be cramped definetly but im sure its possible. what is that 168 watts? sorry if my math sucks haha.

Yea thats 168 watts, but you should consider getting larger wattage bulbs. I'm saying this because fluoros (or any bulb) of smaller wattage has a smaller lumens to watt ratio than a larger wattage bulb, meaning they arent as efficent. So you should get 6-28 watt bulbs for better efficiency.

haha but the smaller ones are real real cheap. compared to the 55 watters or 28 watters even, i can get 20-13 watters for the price of 4 30 watters

i might attempt the retarded and buy 20-13 watters and try and stuff them all in a box, wouldnt that be a sight? i saw some 105 watters on ebay for 28 a peice i think ill go with those?

Here's an idea.... Why not go to the hardware store and buy a 150 metal halide...
I am sure it would produce more buds than cfl's at the same price but i have no comparison. Never tried the mh.....
Cfl's do produce nice buds and if you do it right you can get quite a bit but light penetration is not all that great....
I see those metal halides round here for like 30-40 bucks. Mecury vapor actually now that I think about it but the mh bulbs work too.

Trev, get a 150HPS it would be perfect. 18 bucks for the ballast and 7 for the bulb. Go to ballist kits.
