Open Pollination Acclimitization

If I start with 3 different males (D, E, F) and 3 sets of 3 mothers (3A, 3B, 3C) approximately how many generations would I need to open pollinate for each plant to carry genes from each cultivar

On the 3 sets of 3 mothers, would each set be 3 of the same cultivar or would it 3 different cultivars in each set? In other words would you have 3 of A, 3 of B, and 3 of C or would set 1 be A, B, C, Set 2 D, E, F and set 3 G, H, I?
As for the males would the males be the same cultivars as any of the females or would they be completely different cultivars than the females? Example would be if your females are A. B, C would the males be Am, Bm, Cm (m=male) or would they be D, E, F?

If your using i Am, Bm and Cm pollinating 3 Af, 3 Bf and 3 Cf then you could have all the genes after the second cross but with an open pollination it could take more than that just to get a majority of your seeds to have all 3 genes.

But if your 3 males are different cultivars than the females and you're using 9 different female cultivars then you're in for quiet a while til all the genes are in all the cultivars.

The only way to know for sure that all your cultivars contain genes from the other cultivars is to do a controlled pollination. With an open pollination you will never actually know for sure, you will only be able to hope and guess. In theory you could open pollinate for 20 years and still end up with seeds that are missing genes from one of the cultivars.

JointOperation is on a distinguished road
lots of work.. I only saw open pollination as a good thing.. when u have some seeds that are just really rare and shit.. and u wana be able to work the line more later.. and have more to choose from.. in the end...

but.. im not breeder.. I just like to chuck.. im researching breeding.. been reading lots.. but damn is it confusing as hell. lol . I like doing experiments.. instead .. but the reading needs to be done..

I only grow a small outdoor operation for myself and other med patients, I like a large variety to choose from for everybody, I also seem to build tolerance quickly, I'm really looking for a way to keep my population genetically diverse with some intended and unintended selection. I also hope I can still acclimatize the population to the area in the long run with as large as possible gene pool with my plant count. I'm a pollen chucker too and love it. Glad I admitted that

thanks, good info, my notation was terrible, what do you think will give me the goals I stated in post one up? also I think of personality of the high, potency, then production in that order, thanks for any help

J icky it would be mothers 3 A, 3 B, 3 C and for fathers 3 D, 3 E, 3 F to give you
AD AE AF BD BE BF CD CE CF for 9 possible hybrids if I did a great job of selectively pollinating branches or if I was extremely lucky in a random pollination.

How do you optimally breed for variety without losing the personality, potency of the high? Right now I think thats the question that I would appreciate if anyone had advice on this. Sorry so many double posts but I'm trying to figure things out and I tend to talk when I do that
