If you are in Vancouver on July 1, which is Canada day, you are in for a treat. On the steps of the downtown art gallery, the locals gather to celebrate "Cannabis day". Weed abounds.

This was my experience last year:

I got off the Amtrack from Seattle, took a taxi to my motel, walked to the rally, bought a joint of "Godbud" for $3, borrowed a lighter from Marc Emory who was strutting around with some hot chick, and proceded to get very wasted.

It was all a bit surreal. I didn't even know about this rally, I just walked into it.
