Hello,

i've been growing only regular seeds, with 12/12 photoperiod for flowering, and my question is :

what is the interest of growing auto's indoor ? At least outdoor it can flower before the 12/12 natural flip, but indoor i don't see the point.

Do they produce more ?

No offense to auto's lovers, i'm just curious and ignorant...

I imagine it is because you can flower on any photoperiod, so could run it at 18/6 or even 24/0. More light = bigger plants

They are a bit easier to grow, more forgivible and has got shorter life time, so you dont have to wait for your smoke so long

Exactly! Hard to do successive planting (every 25-30 days) using same light regimen for photos.

To each their own. After growing photos for 40 years...hard to believe, autos are perfect for the reasons others gave you as an explanation, yet still grow 1-3 photos in summer.

Out door autoflowers are for early harvests. An those in the far far north.

But my auto fems usually own 12/12 from seed photos in my. 400w grow.
Sativa dom autos get Big an finnish fast. Amazing sativa high with out the wait!


I made a 8-9 weeks From seed auto, i can harvest 1-2 oz? , 2-3 ft tall, White as hell, an better than most dispensary bud. The vigor an ease of good autos astounds me.
They are the best for the sick an dying whom I made em for.

For 150? investment , any noob who won't over water an feed can have free bud.
400 w flouro , cfl 100w 20$ ea 100 $
Miracle-Gro nutes 10$ feed as directed on box
Garden dirt maybe perlite 10$
Rubber maid container dollar store, 4 ea, 4$
Couple of ace hardware dual bulb adaptors an plug in thingy 20$

Autos are sooo good for starting growers doing it for meds.
Those folks who seen there family's helped with cannabis will vote to legalize.

Autos allow you to harvest in northern regions outdoors before hunters are trampling through all the brush and before police begin searching for plants.

Indoors autos grow faster and put on more weight than photos because they will flower at 20h light / day, giving them more energy and thus more growth, faster than photos possibly can.

To me autos are a sideline crop, a crop to included in the budding room, waiting on the photos to finish, that said they are fun to breed with and currently crossing my photos to make the same strain(WW) auto ...lol

Growing autoflowering Cannabis indoors can allow for harvest rotation in a single room, since light schedules can be held constant.
