Did you have air stones going in your last setup? Maybe you need more air...

GH Flora Shield works well for hydro root problems. It's basically just h2o2 though.
SM-90 is also great for hydro & aero setups. It's coriander oil and is ok with organics and works well to avoid common root problems. I don't know that it will fix your problem but it won't hurt and is a good avoidance measure in the future.

Honestly, I don't know if root rot is fix-able. Once the roots are gone the plant doesn't stand a chance. Hopefully you caught it before its too late. If it gets too severe you will know because the plant will basically wilt up and die. If its healthy enough to clone, definitely take clones just in case.
Run that Flora Shield (or h2o2) in your rez for the rest of this run. Id add some SM-90 too. Add lots of air stones you can't have too much air. Not enough air will cause your roots to rot. Change your water once a week. It never hurts to change the water. Waiting too long definitely can hurt though. I'd also run beneficials in the future too - bacteria and mycorrhizae etc. they will help prevent this from happening again.
I'd also recommend cutting out the brown rotted roots if possible. And run enzymes (like someone above said) to eat the dead & dying roots.

Oh and no, none of the stuff in that picture is enzymes. Enzymes are things like Hygrozyme or Sensizym or Cannazym. They are enzymes that break down dead roots and should be part of every feeding regime in my opinion.

Go with mother nature, use beneficial microbes and breed an army that will fight the invader with no merci:-)
Subculture B from GH or liquid piranna by AN work well for me you can also breew your own Richyrich's tea.

If I may, your life and plants will be much happier and healthier in Flood & Drain

It should be easy for you to covert this grow

Just get a net pot that your rots will fit into + a ~ 5 gallon tote to put the plant into

Note how soft and fluffy these roots are. Billion times more efficient at nutrient uptake

See my DIY Mini-Me tutorial for parts list

I agree petflora, tried flood and drain a couple years ago and its easy peasy.

I can remember being a young grower just out of high school, of course wanting huge yields so I bought a CHEAP dwc setup. Those 4 plants never made it to flower (R.I.P girls root rot sucks!) and I was so pissed I threw the system to the side and started going only soil. It was 10 years before I tried again...

Then switched to flood and drain... My next decision was to get rid of SOIL lol

well, I decided to chop her down for clones. I got 16, 4 of which need to be transplanted like today.

I also think I will try coco instead and maybe a 5 or 10 gallon dwc for the fuck of it.

I also think I will try a recommend (thanks DONAJTHEIII) tea consisting of Great White, GH Ancient Forest and molasses for root rot, and orca for maintence. What do you guys think?

it only takes a Google search to prove your wrong and you can reverse the root rot . Hydrogaurd from botanicare will do the job . I have watched my brown dying roots start growing new white roots right out of the slimy brown, not here to argue, just telling what my experience has been using the product. It only takes about 3 to 4 days to see the new roots taking over the slime. I would not post this if the product didn't work. You can use peroxide but it just kills the bacteria and does not help to keep fighting it off, like the hydrogaurd has done.

If you try it make sure and get the new improved hydrogaurd. It worked so well . I have been using it on all my plants in veg and bloom that are in coco. I even tryed it in dirt and it will strip all the rust off your root's. It is cheap and it goes a long ways 2ml to a gallon I use it as it say's 2ml each and every watering. I can pop a pic of my shining roots if you like . Since using it my plants are thriving and the roots exploded from tiny struggling roots to big mass roots in all my plants. Oh and I am in no way affeliated with any grow company.

Yeah, I just meant once it gets too severe is all. I've seen it to the point where there was no live roots left. If you catch it soon enough you can definitely bring the plant back.
And I agree hydro guard is a good product for hydro & aero. I used to always run it in my aeroflo. I'm in soil now so I tend to use the powdered beneficials for the soil.
But anyway, sorry for the confusion in my other post.

ORCA is amazing no H202 just ORCA ORCA ORCA ! Not the biggest fan of hydroguard.... the species list in Orca/GW speaks for itself but everyone has their own preference

VARIETY is what I like
