Skunk/IBL Question
I've asked this question without any answer's. I would like to know the Skunk used in this IBL project. Is this the old Road Kill Skunk we know here in the USA of the 70's and 80's? Can someone let me know what Skunk was used in this project or link me to the info? I hope this is the old Skunky Skunk. Thinking about ordering some of these seeds and I'm looking for alittle info. Thanks everyone and take care.

HELL YES, that's what i want to hear. Thanks everyone for all the help and info. I've been looking for this strain for years. This is a bud that i had so much fun in high school and made alot of money also. That's before i knew any better as a high school punk. I'm glad Tom perserved this strain. The question now, how many packs do i order? Man, i loved that Skunk so much. I have so many great memories with that smoke. It will be a nice reunion for sure. Thanks everyone of the info and happy. You just got to love IC.
Take care, BG |

That's too funny my job in high school was also selling the locally grown roadkill skunk. $100 oz sinsemilla that a quarter filled up half a ziplock bag. the grower used to call it donkey dick. The buds were always 1" in diameter sometime 2-3 ozs and perfectly round all the way down. It was weird because there were never any hairs on the buds they were just solid green. Though it's been quite a few years I tracked some of this down about 5 yrs ago and he was still calling it donkey dick but he'd messed it up somehow ut was very hairy and snelled like oregano. The buzz was similar but weaker. It was a big disappointment.

I have a question for og bub. Just wondering on the flowering time of this strain and your hill temple haze? Im interested in a true breeding old school sativa strain to preserve and to breed with select indicas. Thanks, and id like to compliment you on your work keeping some of these old genes going.

the road kill skunk was really mainly afgahni, skunk isn't skunky skunk is sweet, so any skunk you do get your gonna want to keep the indica dominant ones in hope of getting the road kill skunk.
i still don't understand why any breeders haven't crossed there best skunk with a road kill smelling afgahni because everyone has been asking for it for years....you'll find it in a pack of afgahni before you find it in a pack of skunk...atleast the smell your looking for. |

Scorpionking:
If I remember what ogbub said correctly the hill temple haze was 10 weeks inside/ early-mid october outside. It was a pure haze line that bub had inbred to isolate a faster purple columbian dominant pheno. With the skunk though they no doubt needed afghan genes to get that odor I think some sativa genes were also neccesarry to get the true roadkill odor. The roadkill skunk type that I'd mentioned earlier seemed possibly columbian dominant. It had that emerald color and a lack of visible pistils in the dried buds, had large calyxes and was quite fluffy. |
