Just got a pack of Old Grandpa Scratch and 5 Strawbanana Creme came with it for free. Thought the OGS didn't get put in the package...so they are 1 day behind the SBC.
They were all directly sowed into coco....it's how I roll. Gonna try and do a complete log for these as they are gonna be flowered in my grow cab(test cab). Hopefully I get a nice 50/50 ratio.......I like to be able to pick both males and females from a group of more than 2 plants per sex(SBC I'm hoping for 3 girls, 2 boys). That would make for 9 females to flower and right now I have 13 plants in the cab ( so even if I have a higher female ratio...I will still have room. I popped a bunch of other seeds....just in case my m/f ratio is heavy on the male side of things. Popped some of The Cornerstone(Gage Green), a couple LeeRoy(Rare Dankness)Purple Diesel(Cali Connect), and Cotton Candy Cane(Emerald Triangle, and Kush N' Cheese (Dinafem). The last 2 are the only fem beans I popped.
Gonna try and do weekly updates from once they break ground until the flowers are dry. The grow cab I have now is homemade and I have a cheap led and cfl's with a couple t5's. It works really great and produces some nice buds. On a test grow for ojd I harvested just about 6 ounces from a 3'w x 2'd x 5 1/2' h space. I'm hoping to duplicate or smash that number with this run.
I have the option of upgrading to a 600 in a cool tube....but can't decide if in want too. I know yield and quality could go up.....but things could also go the other way and I end up with just about nothing. (Ya know new lighting source in an old set-up sometimes takes some tweaking) . I would really hate to fuck these babies up , as its my first run with karma genetics and I wanna see his work in their full glory. I still have time to decide while my seeds are finishing developing in the cab.

Checked on the beans last night. Forgot about popping a Sour Kush(Headband) from Reserve Privada. The Sour Kush was the first seed to crack her shell. Today when I go to see them, I'm sure the leaves will have opened up, and a few more will prolly be up above the coco.
My grow cab has about 4-5 weeks until it's done. Hopefully I can get these seedlings up to size by then. I wanna flip them as soon as I get the seed run in the grow cab processed, and clean the cab. But......if I have to veg them for a week or two in the cab...that's what i'll do. I wanna be able to take 2-3 cuts from each plant. I have a hard time just running a plant once. I always gotta make a mother out of it. Just in case that 2nd or 3rd run shows me how she can just shine. Plus I'm pretty lucky when it comes to getting a keeper pheno with the first seed/bunch of seeds. I have a LSD from Barney's Farm that I haven't found again, and between me and a friend we've been thru 10 more seeds of it. Same goes for Kosher Kush and 24 KT Gold.....stellar plants from a single seed.

Shit!!, forgot to take pics last night and the night before that. Popped all 12 OGS. I have 10 nice little seedlings going. One seed never made it up outta the coco, and the other one I lost because of myself. Was trying to peel the shell off from the seedling and the bastard shot outta my hand like a rocket. Then it must have hit a black hole, poof!!! and it was gone forever. So 10 OGS's, and 1 of the Strawbanana Creme's didn't make it, so I have 4 of those. Outta 14 karma beans I should be able to get a couple keepers for sure.( I will prolly end up keeping most of them, I have a hard time killing plants,lol). I will make sure totake a few pics tonight.
