ok. here it is...

DAY 58

this is dwc; 1000w hps

nutes: flora nova, sweet w/ hydroguard, MONSTER BLOOM (works pretty well)

now they're in clearex (have been for 5 days)

i'll harvest individually when each one's trichs are ripe

Questions:

is it harmful for them to be in clearex for too long (right now it's just clearex and tap water) ??

Also...any predictions as to the yields on this one???

thanks all...i know these look rather shitty and mangey but this grow has taught me much about what not to do!

Wow looks nice, i'll take a wild guess and say 8 ounces. Dont worry about the clearex, youre supposed to use it the last 3-7 days.

I'm looking for a good PK booster, can you tell me how well monster bloom worked for you?

thanks pontiac! i definitely noticed the effects of the monster bloom-- it's a 0-50-30 but i don't really know that much to be able to compare it to other products.

the guy at the hydro store recommended this other stuff called Pure Flowers 0-30-20 but i only had enough money to buy the monster bloom at the time. the pure flowers supposedly boosts the immune system also and you only have to use 1 tsp/5 gallons

well, i noticed some spider mite speckling...should i raise the humidity for a brief (~4 hrs) period to kill them or try the mix (https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=18473) ? i'm afraid of the potential for mold if i do the humidity thing so i guess i'll just do the mix tomorrow.

Hmm thats a tough situation. You should never spray anything at the plants near the end of flowering. Spraying should be done during veg and early flowering. Also, you should never increase the humidity during late flowering; it may cause bud mold, which can lead to rotting.

I think you shouldnt worry about spider mites, since youre near the end of the harvest. Its not like they'll destroy the plants in just 1 or 2 days.

you should finish out the grow as you normally would if you didn't have mites then after the harvest wash everything with a bleach solution, and you might want to introduce preditory mites for your next grow.

a good way to deal with mites in late flowering is vaccuming them off the plants with a vaccum cleaner.
