White Fire OG
Here is my keeper pheno of WiFi, found out of 3 packs. She is really frosty, yields nicely, has a great structure, and killer OG smell and flavor. She was grown under a G8led 450, with organic soil and guano teas. Gave her a little too much nitrogen during flower, and caused some clawing. Also got a little bud rot for the first time ever, because of her extreme frost and density. Heavy air circulation is vital with this one. I stressed out the pack quite a bit by messing up the light schedule, but these ladies have remained hermie-free. Like her so much that I'm running another pack, and keeping a cut of this one for sure.
Thanks Raskal! |

Great looking frosty nugs of that WiFi. So looks like that led worked great. Jah bless.

Thanks GB! Love that WiFi. And was very impressed with the yield the LED lights gave me. I switched from 600 watt hps and have been getting the same yield while cutting the electricity bill drastically.

Welcome! That's awsome! I have been debating between hps and led but have heard lots of good n bad about LEDs, mainly that quality and yield don't compare to using hps but it seems like its all hype! Another reason why I want to go led is for a smaller carbon footprint! And if potential quality is not much different than going led would be great.

Yeah, I think a lot of it has to do with what brand of LED you buy. I use cheap Chinese TopLED lights in veg and they do just fine for that, but you need to buy higher quality lights for flowering. G8LED did great for me, but there are a ton of solid brands. I got the same yield with the G8450 as I did with a 600 watt hps. I honestly can't tell the difference between the quality of my hps and led buds. Totally worth the high initial investment imo.

Got a question if you don't mind, about how many plants good for that 450 watt would you say is ideal?

You could fit five or six large plants in 5 gallon pots under the 450. But I like to top and train my plants to bush out. I'd say the 450 adequately covers a 5' x 5' area.

Always happy to help! The 450 would definitely work great for your setup.
