Smoke out of a neck?
Seems like most people outside of SA have never contemplated it.
Hot flame, tap tap tap, load up, bust it.

I blame this thread on Afropips. He got me thinking of old times.

hehe, yeah i tried it a few times 'back in the day'.
i did it at a beach party in brasil and peeps thought i was smoking crack.

lol I've seen it being done but I never tried it. Doesnt it burn the throat more than usual?

Yea bro, the smoke is harsh!

I smoked bottle necks quite often way back. Now I'm a non-smoker of cigaretts and infrequently smoke joints (only my vaporizer) The thought of klapping a bottle neck is actually scary

Howzit Getafix Bro,

The necks were mainly utilised for smoking majat
which is Harsh.
I prefered the traditional leather bound Chillums packed with less harsh Durban Poison or the traditional Batonka calabash water pipe for the harsh majat.

These days I only puff joints & rarely smoke a cigarette.

Did any of you experience "Dragons" after pulling the neck really hard?

you mean those puffs you burp out? i LOVED necks, and always make a mission of kapping a few every time i'm in SA... my pop in law still lives on parcels from the loco via his employees... taranangi pitjievol ON!! i'm gonna take my bubble bags home in march and work a parcel or two
