Hey Folks!

I just scored a pack of a Georgia Landrace from "Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic 1986"

Since i'm new to the Automatics/Ruderalis Gen its interessting for me to grow them out and see what we got

Any Infos further

I gemed 10 of the Seeds today... Also i will test some Outdoor early 2015

It depends, is this a wild or a cultivated strain? Color and size of the seeds? Small and dark might indicate a feral back ground.

i don*t know the hemp history in this country, but i guess its a wild.

When trying to germinate feral spontanea seeds alternating between warm and cold temperatures can give better results than constant warm conditions, so try that if nothing happens. With such old seeds I would do it that way from the beginning. Best of luck.

I've some of these too. As seedlings, they look like the Armenian landrace from User 'Forscher'

It's only a tiny test run with the weak seeds I didn't wanted to store. The two seeds germinated well, though one stayed very small whereas the other one starts flowering at one month of age (under 14/10).
The Armenian seeds on the other hand are a pain to germinate, placing them in the fridge (during soaking!) for one night helps a bit, scuffing and H2O2 plus nitroprusside also contribute to a better germination rate, but still...
The Georgian variety is listed as C. sativa ssp. spontanea, indicating that it's feral/wild hemp. The variety is likely to be maintained in situ in Germany since 1986 by the IPK (maybe not grown every year).

If you want to see if it's an 'automatic', grow them at 24/0.
