I read alot about feminised seeds on overgrow and most were negative reviews, but i have seen many great grows on here and since. Well first of the two grapefruits to show sex i have growing at the moment is showing male pre flowers. I am annoyed as this is not something i expected but i do have the space to grow a male at the moment and i also have a replacement for this round. I have taken a couple of pic's unfortunatly the cam i am using at the moment doesnt have 0cm macro.
I think i will have to seperate this plant later i was wondering if anyone has had this happen? |

Hi badticket/oyster magnet, thanks for the reply! it definetly reminded my why i am growing this plant looking at the great buds in your thread. If the other plant shows to be female which i am pretty sure she will then i will have no problems! I realise this strain isnt completly stable, I think i will grow it out maybe make some bubblegfruit or grape rhino hehe.

Don't kill it yet, remove the preflowers, its normal to have some male preflowers on the main stem, it doesnt mean male flowers will appear everywhere
seems to be an abnormality...Some plants show this trait others dont, i had 5 plants on 24 grapes show this, i picked them off and was just fine.. Unless they start pupping up everywhere else buds and other branches, u should kill it off... greetz |

next round if it happens again get that plant out asap and don't fall for anyone saying "a few male flowers but they won't mature" or " just pull them off it will be fine" yank it quick and forget about it, i learned my lesson the hardway, yeah a few people pulled the male sacs off and were ok but it isn't worth having your whole room pollinated trust me on that one.
