It is a strange smell indeed wallyduck. Sometimes you think its grapefruit then sometimes its lemon or something in between. Its almost like a pineapple jolly rancher. Grow room smells like candy instead of weed...:p

lovely :)
Very nice looking buds! I can just imagine the smell; I love floral/exotic scented MJ...
This strain looks like it could benefit from some pruning before/during flower to concentrate growth to the main colas; I see it has a tendency to put out a lot of lower branches and shaded popcorn nuggets. If you run this clone again I recommend clipping off the lower fluff before it flowers out; see if your main colas don't fatten up as a result!

Jacks Surprise from 180
Nice looking frosty gal ya got there.
The Jacks Surprise is a staple in the garden - vigorous growth and the fattest colas I have ever been able to produce. Good luck with her - she is a keeper. You describe the smell very well. I'd add an extra sour smell to the sweetness. Must be the grapefruit. -joe |

Yeah, there is a sourness to it.
I diddnt do any pruning this time, this is the third time around with this cross. My first time growing totally organic. They love the stuff, 20 or so colas as big as my forearm and giant heap of smaller buds. These were from seed, last I had from a freedom fund a couple years ago. The plant in those first pics is seeded, F2s baby!! ![]() ![]() ![]()
