electricity monitoring?

Good evening,
ill start by saying sorry my Greek is horrible so ill write this in English.
I was wondering if they monitor your electricity for extreme power usage. I'm talking about maybe 10k alternated between two rooms on a flip flop. 10k running 24hrs a day. If the dey bill, sorry I don't have greek alphabet, was paid promptly even if it was €2000 or so would it raise suspicion?
Please don't guess. Everyone is paranoid and thinks anything bigger than what they are doing is too much. What I want to know is it monitored? Is anyone actually looking for large scale growers or is there biggerer issues right now considering the state of Greece. In Canada if you pay your bill you are fine. In other places you are not. Please back answers up with some logical reasoning.
Thank you all in advance.

yes you will get caught in Greece for doing that because they may suspect you use so much power for business use or whatsover when you have a "household electricity contract". So if an appartment designed for 4 people runs 20k watts almost CONSTANTLY when it is supposed to run no more than 10 then well i don't know man. you got trouble. BUT Check how much wattage a family house would consume and then compare it with what you plan to do. then maybe you do not need to worry so much about it. Or in smaller scale. sounds fit too.

I say it like that so you may understand it. IF however you rent some kind of big warehouse for professional use and you "mask it" a bit with some heavy machinery doing some "shitwork" and the same time pay everything well and in good order, then I do not believe that you would experience any problems. You should watch out however, what i say is just an indication reflecting my poor knowledge on the current policies and in no matter I encourage you to do something that would cross the borders of legality.

I on the other hand will tell you that there's no monitoring of electricity in Greece, they can't do it even if they wanted to. The ones that get caught don't get caught because of electricity, but because of stupidity, a country-wide phenomenon lately

In some EU Countries they monitor/control the hole electricity system 24/0 for Errors and Overloads. So it would also possible to see how much runs @ a household yes.

for example the UK/France/Germany & Nothern Countries have to report to police if they see something suspect. ( they know how many Ampere a Household usually takes , so if you take 10 times more Ampere over 24/0 , they have to report that )

Don't know if that the same in Greece.... but it would be possible.... Also i Don't know if they scan warehouses / companies....

In Greece they can't do it, the system is antiquated, imagine that they still measure consumption manually!

Thank you. Thank you....I was pretty sure they can't monitor shit in greece. Considering they keep adding shit to my dey or whatever u wanna call elec. Supplier in greece, I think their concern is more about collection than what's the reason for using. I've been living in north america and "no one" has knocked on the door for household use of over 100ķw/hr a day....yes a day..... as long as you pay your $2000 bill every other month. Hard to believe greece would b more ahead but hey. ...u got to ask right? Now I'm not planning on coming to greece to take over the underground grow movement, but wheni posed this question my friend in greece told me mostly albanian shwag everywhere. ..garbage... plus prices are high.....I got lots of land in greece and suburban property so it's tempting. .... but I love my life here alot more despite the shit winters... thanks for the info, gave me something to think about if I get bored here and want to start fresh.
Anyways, I wish you all the best and hope D.E.Y. stays as antiquated as ever
