So I just picked up a couple packs of Chimera's
Highland Mexican x Bluberry and I'd like to know when the most recent seed lot was made? I'm trying to gauge their remaining shelf life.

The Highland Mex cross didn't go out for another year or so... I would truly have been surprised to hear you acheived less than 80%; I'm still getting 95%+ on all BB hybrid seeds from that run...

Thanks I've read through them. I thought I saw somewhere where Chimera said he might make another batch. It'd be great if Chimera or someone directly in the know could chime in as I was told by the seed vendor I purchased them from that they were only 1.5, 2 years old max.

only one batch has ever been made as far as I have been able to gather, also I am not sure the mother still exists or not.

maybe the retailer has had them for 1.5 to 2 years but they are almost ten years old... that said I just got 29/30 germination rates and 28/30 survived sprouting... so they are still very much alive

Chimera has said several times there are no plans to recreate it in F2 form, but that doesn't mean the line is done being worked... infer what you will from that.

Crazy I never seen the foil packs. All my Chimera gear came in the old manilla paper ones.
