Steve urkle on the right, frosty headband on the left. About to flip the lights:

The SU is slower and much shorter than the FH.

Any way to separate them GIL? Seems like it would be best to prop steve urkle up when frosted headband starts to stretch more

keep up the good work!

Yeah I def would do a pruning on the flip and continue to do so through early flower but thats just me. i could see steve urkle being really overshadowed if ya dont separate them tho :(

if steve urkle ends up being female and you want as much color as possible, put her right under a HID and let the temps dip into the 60s lights out

I typed up a whole post about my plan earlier, and I guess out didn't go through:( oh well.
They are each going to get their own bucket, with plenty of room. And I am going to clean them up quite a bit. I figured I would try the "relentless" approach, and just leave the mains? What do you think? As far as the temps, 60's ain't happening! That's actually one of the reasons I wanted some black rose crosses. I'm hoping they'll purple even without they low temps. We shall see!

Elusified - I'm just using generalal hydro 3 part. Basically the Lucas formula, but I adjust it a little through out. I know most other hydro people use like 30 different bottles of stuff, but I just don't have the time or patience for that. This is more like, "set it and forget it". Really. My buckets are big enough, that I hardly even have to adjust the PH. Maybe once a week...If I have time. I know my flowers will never be quite as pretty as some on this site, but considering how little I mess with them, they're not bad!

I'll put up some pics after their haircut.
Relentless - I'd love any advice you might have about pruning before I brake out the scissors!

Ahh cool. well that should workout great then, being in different buckets.. I like lolipopping.. so I pruned everything from the 4th node down.. anything thats hanging off the main that is a few inches long gets the snip over here . Id have a field day with those Most people are shocked when I prune their plants for them lol, just a diff style.. I HATE fluff and trimming so this works out best for me.. nothing bud quality hard nugs and less trim time

Also, I do a good bit of removing big fan leaves and prune at the end of week 1 and 2, maybe even end of week 3..

Good luck bud!

The lolipopping I get, but could you elaborate a little on the defoliation? I always feel like I should remove some fans, but I never know which ones, and when to do it. I'm assuming the point is to open up the mains a little so light can penetrate?
