I am sorry to hear that, it is really unfortunate and truly unexpected. Are this nanas turning into male flowers? Risk of releasing male pollen?
We would like to see exactly what is happening...so If you feel like sending a few pictures via private message we would much appreciate that. Quote:

I am not trying to knock the production and sorry to come off upset just trying to find the real deal. Just checked and can't find my charger have to get a new one. The tops are showing quite a few banana's on this one. I will try another seed grow if the smoke turns out as nice as it looks, bannas aside. Hope it will finish though.

Pros smells great looks authentic cons Nanners and finding more throughout not the same old 45 day finish as the original, looking like 59 days. Day 50 bloom I kept a cutting off this girl and it auto flowered on 24/0 but is doing better now and has reverted to normal growth. I will run it out again before judging the bananers. Excellent smell really but the Nanner's pretty much ruin it for me. I guess I just had such high hopes for these....will pop other 5 in pack too but can't yet.

My 4 pack of C99 are doing extremely poor. They sprouted but after the 4th day they 3/4 seedlings have been stunted and now are falling over. The 4th is the runt and hasn't grown at all.
In the same environment I have a bag seed blue dream , white widow by dinafem and original amnesia as well that are doing fine. Very disappointed as I was very excited to try you @femaleseeds Last edited by SteadyDoesIt; 02-20-2017 at 10:33 PM.. |

Hey LB,
Thanks for the feedbacks, much appreciated and we are glad to hear about the smell ![]() From what I see the buds are ready to harvest, so I guess it does not influence any more the essence of the plant itself, luckily. We do understand your disappointment but I believe those nanners won't spoil the harvest 'cause the plant is almost done. This is simply a plant which is creating a few sterile bananas towards the end of flowering time. Quote:

What a fantastic grow!! Thank you female seeds, even the early qwiso hash from trimmings and popcorn/tester buds are very good. Those who have tried her (qwiso) love the pineapple smell and effect is A+ happy/smiling strong effect. I didn't veg long before flowering, but this could be a monster yielding plant, almost all bud & few leaves. Very frosty
I'll show some pics of buds when the cure is finished. This was a tester bean from a 10 pack, I'll drop the other 9 in upcoming runs. Good pot!!! Edit: worth mentioning not to discredit other posters here, but only to share my contrary experience: 100% free of male gonads, easy growth from Germination to harvest. |

This plant is useless to me as it auto's under 24 and is Hermie. What use is it to me? 1 and done? What a complete waste of my time. 4 or more months to grow this out! The other 3 looked unworthy, poor structure and slow growth. This one ended up not smelling at all like any C99 I have grown ever so not sure why but that was pretty disappointing as I had heard it was pineapple but most likely those reports came from folks that have not had the privilege of growing the original brothers grimm releases in 2001. Turned out sappy sort of grapefruit but totally different. 50 day FMS Hermie Can you say Hermie? They are worse now even more of them!!! Not satisfied. Cinderella was always hermie proof when bred for standard seed stock. Here lies the problems associated with female seed stock. I will look elsewhere rather than waste more of my valuable time. If I had access to Standard Male and female Cinderella of authentic quality I would focus on releasing an authentic version rather than this. I mean I did shell out for a 10 pack of these then there is the time involved, nutes, lights, etc. If you guys decide to release a standard Male female version that isn't hermie prone please let me know. I am sure there is plenty interest if you still have the ability to create a line of that sort. LT

Just to remind you all few things...
A real hermaphrodite is a plant which starts flowering after 3 weeks of 12-12 light and starts growing an equal amount of female flowers and male flowers. This means the plant will be covered for 50% in productive male flowers and 50% female flowers. This can happen in very rare cases in all kinds of seeds. 1 in 1000s of plants. And as far as I understood there is no pollination happening, which explains the fact that those are again a few sterile bananas appearing towards the end of flowering time. Apart from these aspects, surely there are a lot of factors that influence these issues and I am not here to list them all. You can definitely "look elsewhere rather than wasting your time" but many people already know that the C99 we produce is still among the best one you can find in the market. I am not here to fuel an argument, I understand your point, it can be frustrating and I believe in what you are saying. I just hope that you can understand that Mother Nature is not a perfect machine and about hermies with C99 there are only 1 plant out of 1000 that presents the characteristics, this is a report based on statistics of our seeds. Thank you for your attention, Female Seeds Team
