too much blue dream

any one notice the absurd amount of "blue dream" wax/oil and bubble hash going around lately or is it just me? i swear half the time i ask what strain they ran its blue dream. thaat or gsc. all day long. no way all thats legit cookies extract. i believe the bluedream cause its well, decent but the cookies? people still dont have access to the real coookie cuts which i would say the big 3 are the forum cut, thin mint cookies, and platinum cookies) if you dont have a verified cut of one of these three it might not be anything too special. not saying you cant get good herb from other cuts, hey im running phantom cookies as we speak. (grows alot like my plat. cookies cut..) but the extracts, like i said all day long, you want cookie shatter? blue dream? lol all day blue dream is super commercial now, i think they started giving patients a cut of it when you get your card, lol. but real cookies is still somewhat harder to find. idk. its hard to keep up with phases the economy goes through. i will say one thing for blue dream... it yields well and isnt horrible tasting. imo its kinda light on smell and flavor and potency isnt all that much to write home about. ok that was more than one thing

People are making oils from blue dream because shatter/oil is in demand and blue dream herb is way to abundant on the market. It's the only thing to do with all that left over blue dream.

If people want to grow weed to make oils and shatter with then they should grow plants for frost coverage and not plant weight. Grow shit like deep chunk and the white for making oils with. Grow decap. Grow lvpk. Grow black berry kush. The strains have so much god damn frost compared to any blue dream cut. Legit cookies is legit though. Lots of frost on her.

I noticed that too, lots of BD extracts around. BD keif is a staple at every collective. I got some excellent gsc shatter recently, still haven;t been able to smoke it all.

Love the bd but had some platinum cooks last week and the hype is real. I felt like I was smoking for my first time I was so baked.

I turn down a lot of "Blue Dream" that is really nothing more than well-marketed Beasters/commercial. People are putting the "Blue Dream" label on anything these days.

seems like it. i was never too impressed with the real blue dream any how, like HZ said, its the only thing to do with all that extra blue dream that nobody wants. hit the nail on thhe head too about growing for resin yeild rather than flower yield. las vegas purple kush would be great as well as so call master kush, bubba, and my favorites, the og/chem family. lots of resin there! i get really good yields from runs of tw. its up their % wise and the oild i yield is much blonder than other strains. even extracts made from buds that went 56 days up to 70 days and i still get that nice blond color even as the trichs mature def reccomend it . yields great, has nice, beuatiful, tastey buds and is super resinous, whats not to like. i have the original arcata tw cut. over 30 plus years old and still one of my faves. great daytime smoke, very heady and cerebral.

im currently looking through a bunch of hash plant x cookies seeds to hopefully find a good producer of sticky icky. my new favorite for extracts is the glue (gg4) super yields with super resinous buds. even the fan leavs have trichs. and that taste, og/chem taste. a good chem cut (to me) tastes like what i would imagine a rainbow would taste like. hope that makes sense.

blue dream is a great strain when grown proper, however way to much of it grown sub par and is very played out like a song on the radio played over and over peeps just get sick of it after so many times hearing it

Yup I had a killer cut of platinum blue dream. After a couple years people got burned out on it so I tosed it. A month later it's all I had request . It's was a dank ass strain. K wish I still had it. The only good cut I've gotten off craigslist. It was supposed to be xxx og. Some shops complained so I called it sour blue and it flew faster than anything else. I hate when people get a misconception about a strain.

I like the original dj short blueberry much more than blue dream. Although I don't dislike blue dream. I don't smoke it much, so good blue dream is still enjoyable to me.
