Limited Edition- Jarilla Sinaloa... Information wanted

Genetics: Jarilla de Sinaloa
Yield: Medium
Flowering: 12-14 weeks

Local Cola Borrego from Sinaloa, a Mexican variety full of aroma with a citrus taste and clean, a fast flowering Sativa.

Hey Kaiki and CBG heads,

I am interested in getting a nice amount of these seeds for the collection, but the description leaves a bit to be desired.

Is there any more information about its resin production, potency, effects and more detailed descriptions of the varying smells and tastes? How often special individuals show up in the population?

Thank you!

thanks Mustafunk,

I searched before I posted this thread and somehow missed that one but did read it after posting this, still though, I didn't read anywhere in there where anyone addressed the resin/potency/effects, the percentage of keepers, or much more on smell and taste beyond citrus.

it would seem that this line is more modern and is likely to contain some kind of hybrid genetics or another.... and not really what I am interested in. I am looking for Pure Mexican genes. Oh well I just grabbed the last pack of punta rosa I could find online and i will be ordering a bunch of mangobiche punto rojo and sudafrica plus some double Jam! maybe sone destroyer too.

Buenos días

Jarilla de Sinaloa comes from the family of a good friend and kept by him for more than a decade due good smoke, flavors and results. Also friends there always recognize it as local weed, more in these days when much of the Kush is offered more extensively instead and local smokers from the sierras may prefer to smoke their own lines, they know well

I can’t say is a pure line, shows few phenotypical differences, not such thin shape at first but not in the smoke nor aromas. I will always select for limer green/blondest bladed leaves and latest ones to finish. If you keep cuts indoors you will see how performs its sativa shape much clearly accentuated. Aromas are intense citric with a bottom of zorrillo and effect goes heady. May some have a more sedated effect at the end. Not heavy buds at all but endless little branches and calyxes

I found harder to get good males but my tests here were small so can’t say my best. Females were good and finished around 14-16 weeks. Your seeds came directly from Mexico, we didn’t make any repro here.

In some quick test crosses found very nice effect intensity and interesting results

Wish I could clarify a bit better

thanks kaiki, I do appreciate the input... I do want to collect as many mexican genetics as possible and if the results are still traditional Mexican Sativa flavor and smoke then I may consider getting a couple packs as well.

gracias
